Happy 4th!

Hello! & Happy 4th of July - Independence Day for those of you in the U.S.!

Popping in quick to share a card I made for the new July challenge over at The Greeting Farm: H2O LOVE!

I gave Summer Ian & Addy some patriotic swimsuits! Love these sweet digis- they are so cute!

Happy 4th!

Found some water waves patterned paper scraps in my stash, added some blue glittery washi tape, and the happy die is from Winnie & Walter and called it done!

Thanks for stopping by!

Have a fun & safe holiday!

Sending {bunny} Hugs!

Hi... I'm still here! (Finally seeing the light -sort of- at the end of this sickness tunnel!)

I decided to dig into the pile of colored goodies in my stash from the latest 30 Day Coloring Challenge! (hosted by the FAB Kathy Racoosin) for days 29/30 I did some rainbow coloring of some die cut words with my trusty copics.  Which happen to be perfect for March Challenge at A Blog Named Hero- Rainbow!

I colored up this sweet rabbit from Hero Arts Baby Animals set to pair with the hugs die cut from Winnie & Walter for a sweet CAS card...

Sending (bunny) hugs

I wish there was an easy way to photograph shimmer- because that 'hugs' is COVERED in sparkly wink of stella!

Thanks for stopping by, off to enjoy some weekend family time!

November Birthdays

Happy December!

A little late to share these, but thought I'd pop in to share some cards I made for my nieces- they're both November babies!

Well, not really babies anymore... this was for my now *SEVEN* year old niece!
November bday girl

She was "Where's Waldo" for Halloween this year and she just loved her costume and I thought this sweet girl from The Greeting Farm's Secret Santa kit was a perfect match with her striped hat!

& this one was for my *TEN* year old niece!

Happy SuperGirl

I also based this one off her Halloween costume, she was SuperGirl and because she's really been getting into superheroes this year too! For her card I decided to use the You're Super set from My Favorite Things, and the sentiment (both the diecut and and the stamp) are from Winnie & Walter- Happy cutaway & The Big, the Bold, & the Happy.

50th Anniversary!

Hello there!

I'm finally back after having my husband's family in town last week to celebrate my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary!  (which actually isn't until December, but it was best time for everyone to travel)

Anyway, I helped with the party decor by making some centerpieces for a few of the tables. I painted some small terra cotta pots gold, and planted succulents in them! (Have I mentioned that I love succulents?)

I finished them off with die cut tags (Hero Arts) and number dies (MFT) tied on some black twine.

and of course I had to make them a card too...
50th Anniversary

Keeping with the gold and black theme, I stamped the large flower from Avery Elle's Petals & Stems in gold and embossed. I used the 'happy' cutaways die from Winnie & Walter along with the anniversary sentiment from the Big, Bold & the Happy, and created a 'shadow' effect my layering the same die cut from black card stock. I tied in the same 50 number dies from the centerpieces in gold glitter card stock.

Hope to get to more crafting this week, but I have been coloring along (when I can) with Kathy Racoosin's newest 30 day coloring challenge and posting onto Instagram- check it out if you're not already joining in! Such an easy to squeeze in a bit of craftiness, even if it's not a complete card!

Until next time...

Love you a LATTE!

I couldn't let the weekend go by without making *another* coffee themed card for the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

I had this idea pop in my head late (always late) last night and could finally put the finishing touches on it this morning!

I think this one shouts a little more fall... (now, if only the weather would get the hint!)

Love you a LATTE

I stamped the mug from Simon Says Stamp's What's Brewing?, randomly stamped some "falling" leaves (from Lawn Fawn)- colored with copics and topped with some Wink of Stella. I ink splattered my white cardbase with various Distress Inks, layered a woodgrain embossed piece with a kraft doily and thought it was still missing something... so out came the gold paper and love diecut from Winnie & Walter!

Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

Hi again!

(This is my second post today, please scroll down or click here for some Tiddly Inks cuteness!)

It's time for another blog hop... a Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

It's definitely feeling like summer here we've already been hitting the 100F degree marks (except we're actually getting some unusual rainy weather today! LOL)

Anyway, It's always a good time for coffee, especially a nice cool refreshing one, and what makes any drink better? Boba! I was so excited when I saw this stamp set from Shop Evalicious, I just had to have it! I colored it up the other day as apart as The Daily Marker's 30 Day Coloring Challenge, and thought it would be perfect for my card.

Sweet Friend

I paired it with this cutaways die from Winnie & Walter, and stamped the background in Versamark ink using coffee bean stamps from Lawn Fawn and Hero Arts.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hello Deer!

Have you SEEN the new cute digi critters released this month over at Chi Chi Memories???

I couldn't wait to color up this Cute Deer!

Hello Deer

I paired it with some fun "woodsy" papers from my scrap stash, and added a cute lil' nose using some black enamel accents! I created the sentiment by combining stamps from Lawn Fawn and Winnie & Walter.

Tiddly Inks: Feeling Frosty!

(but not really... we've been enjoying some gorgeous 70* degree weather here!)

But it IS time for a new challenge at Tiddly Inks! & this week's theme is "Frosty Feeling"

I decided that a CAS card was the way to go this week, and used Lilli Claire- Warm Wishes

Brr-fect!

I had to squeeze the life out of my last little tube of liquid applique for her ear muffs, and other fuzzy accents... time to buy some more!!

Anyway, please RUN over to the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog and check out some more fabulous inspiration from the design team as well as all the deets to play along in the challenge!

Oh, and one more card to share with you that somehow didn't get posted last week...

Here's Beary Sweet Panda Wryn on another CAS card ;)

Panda hello

HBD Emi!

Yesterday was my sweet niece's SIXTH birthday!

She is all about rainbows and her favorite color is orange... she might even have a little tomboy in her! ;) I needed a birthday card to give her and decided on this cutie from Little Miss Muffet Stamps- she looks just like her!

IMG_8254

Of course I had to incorporate a rainbow of washi tape! The sentiment is from parts of Lawn Fawn & Winnie & Walter.

Thanks for stopping by- Happy Saturday!

WCMD continued...

Happy Saturday!

I found some time to squeeze in one more card for the Winnie & Walter WCMD challenges! For this one I chose Vanessa's Pinspiration...

This is what I came up with!
W&W WCMD Pinspiration

After stamping the kraft cardbase with my favorite MFT woodgrain background, I cut some white cardstock into the triangular shapes and using Distress Inks (tattered rose, picked raspberry, wild honey, spun sugar) sponged on the corresponding colors, Then I spritzed some water on this background stamp and stamped it onto the triangles for some added texture.

Happy WCMD!

Hello & Happy World Card Making Day!

I'm still in the middle of checking out what other fabulous events are going on out there for this fun-filled card making day!

But the first one to jump out at me was this color challenge hosted by Winnie & Walter!

I'm not one to usually use much gold (I tend to prefer silver) but I thought it was a perfect combo to use this Peace Poinsettias stamp from Hero Arts! The Christmas sentiment is from Lawn Fawn's Happy Everything & of course the 'happy' is from my favorite W&W The Big, the Bold & the Happy...

WCMD #1

I'm also entering this in the Hero Arts Holiday Challenge under the "Mad about Metallics & White Out" categories! In addition to Virginia's View Challenge: CAS!

Hoping to get to more cards today...

Happy Stamping!

Runway Inspired

Popping quick this Sunday to share a card I made for the Runway Inspired Challenge (#65)!

The lacy jacket & yellow pants inspired my card.  I thought this Large Flower Background from Hero Arts looked perfectly lacy!

Lacy Hello

The bright red & silver shoes along with blue jacket in the audience popped at me so I added some sequins in those colors. And finally, the Winnie & Walter The Big, the Bold, & the Happy sentiment was a perfect match to the black lines along the jacket!

Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of your weekend! :)

FFF: Mini shaped card

Happy Friday!!!

I'm so happy that the weekend is here! Nothing big planned just happy for the weekend and more time to spend with the family! :)

This week Marcy is hosting over at The Greeting Farm for Farm Fresh Friday! & her challenge this week is to make a shaped card! I don't think to make these very often- so this was a fun challenge indeed!

I decided to make a cute, fun mini card using Up Up Bean!

Mini shaped card
The die is from a*muse studio, called Vintage Labels (I'm sorry can't seem to find it online!) & the 'hello' is from Winnie & Walter.

I think these would make some pretty cute lunch box notes for my nieces, so I think I'll have to make a couple more & sneak some to my sister to put in their backpacks or lunchboxes!

Hope to see you play along with us this week- check out all the deets over at The Greeting Farm blog!

I'm also entering this into the new Virginia's View Challenge- shaped cards!

Love at first cut ♥

(2nd post today... please go here to see my post for Chi Chi Memories or keep on scrolling down ;) )

I had some last minute inspiration to play along with a few more challenges and all on ONE card! :)

I was experimenting with my Silhouette Cameo the other day and had this piece sitting on my desk just *waiting* to be put on a card...

and I was totally inspired by this week's inspiration card on The Cutting Edge challenge #3

Love you

I used the negative of the Love cut file from Winnie & Walter's The Big, the Bold, & the Happy set. I used watercolor paper and inked with a rainbow assortment of distress inks.

I'm also playing along (again) with Virginia's View Challenge #5

AND the Wonderful Words Challenge at Moxie Fab World!

You are...

Awesome, Amazing, Gorgeous... should I keep going?

I couldn't wait to get this last Miss Anya Summer girl colored. I went for another clean and simple look as I wanted to let her shine all on her own! I combined her with The Big, the Bold, and the You stamp set from Winnie & Walter to create this...

You are...

I just love the mix of the handwriting and typed sentiments together (I wish I could write like that!) I'm joining in on the fun at the Moxie Fab Handwriting challenge! Of course I had to finish off the card with a border of faux stitching! I think it gives a finished look & makes the card complete- I'm entering this in Virginia's View Challenge #3 too!

Happy Weekend! I'm off to celebrate my son's SECOND birthday party today!

Stenciled Easter Egg

Hello!

So last night... late last night, I had an idea pop into my head and I just *had* to put it down on paper- literally!

I decided to make another Easter card using 2 stencils to create my giant egg- an oval nestie diecut to make the shape of my egg and this chevron patterned stencil (made by prima)!

Playing along with Virginia's View Challenge #2: Stencils! and the CAS-ual Fridays: Good Egg

Happy Easter
Made an ombre effect with picked raspberry and sugar spun distress inks and finished them off with one of my favorite new sets from Winnie & Walter (The Big, the Bold, and the Happy), & the Easter sentiment and the lil birdie are from Lawn Fawn!

Thanks for looking! :)

Birthday Sushi!

Popping in quick to share this birthday card I made for a friend...

I really couldn't wait to ink up this set when it arrived in the mail this weekend! So it's a good thing she likes sushi!

Birthday Sushi
I added some glossy accents to the soy sauce bottle, and some sequins of course!

I'm linking up to Lawnscaping Challenge #77: BLING IT!

Thanks for stopping by! Happy Monday! :)

Feelin' HAPPY!

Ok.. third and final (I think!) post for today... so much going on this week I don't have enough days to post! LOL! Please see my 1st post HERE, and my 2nd HERE! :)

I have completely joined the "Clean & Simple" bandwagon and was able to whip up these 2 cards in no time thanks to the Winnie & Walter's The Big, the bold & the happy stamp set! Seriously LOVE this set!

I made this the other day.. saving it perhaps for my sister's birthday in a few weeks!
happy, happy, happy

and this one today for my husband as TODAY is his 40th birthday!
40th

I always seem to 'over-think' cards when it comes to family.. but I think these clean & simple looks are just perfect!

Be sure to tune in tomorrow for another The Greeting Farm new release preview!
