Spring is Here!

Back again to share another card I made, this time for the Your Next Stamp's SPRING colors challenge!

I thought this adorable Cupcake Cutie Fhiona stamp was a perfect fit to use some bright & cheery spring colors!  We had a rainy weekend here in AZ and am looking forward to the beautiful weather before we hit the 100 degree mark!

Here is Fhiona all ready to celebrate Spring with a cupcake!

It's Birthday Season!

The fall/winter marks the beginning of the birthday season in my family!  We have at least one birthday a month from now until the summer! (this is my second post today, please scroll down to see my holiday tags!)

We celebrated my niece's (Emi's big sister!) birthday last week, and I made this card for her and also made it for Your Next Stamps' Birthday with hearts challenge! I used one of their digis, Skating Ellie for her card- except I trimmed off the skates to make it not to holiday-ish.

TODAY is also my oldest niece's birthday, she's 11!  My goodness I can't believe how fast time has flown by.. I still remember when it was her first birthday! For her card, I used Teacher Anya from The Greeting Farm- but instead of her holding an apple, I added a cupcake! I found this beautiful paper pad from Amy Butler and just had to use it!


The paper is double-sided too, I just couldn't imagine covering up either side.. so I used it to my advantage and made it the card base... just look at the fabulous tulips on the reverse side!

Emi's Party!

Hiya!  Hope you all had a great weekend! I surely did- spent my Saturday preparing for & celebrating my niece's (see post here) 1st birthday party!

I made her cake & cupcakes- here's how they turned out...


I think Emi liked them what do you think?

I also made some decorations too.. but didn't get a picture- will have to wait til I can get it from my sister.

And of course I had to make her a birthday card too!  I used Cupcake Cutie Fhiona stamp set from Your Next Stamp- it was just perfect with the 1 candle on her cupcake!

YNS Pink & Yellow

Hello!

Happy "hump day"! It's been a long week already- and I can't wait for the weekend to be here! Would love to have more time to be crafty! I'm excited to share with you this card I made for Your Next Stamp's FIRST ever challenge.

The challenge was to use pink & yellow- not my normal color combination- so it was definitely a challenge! I don't have any YNS stamps (yet) but definitely will be picking up some more very soon. In the meantime, YNS has some digis available for a limited time- and for those like me that "need" the instant gratification of something new!

On to the card- I downloaded this super cute witch, colored her with copics and made a tent topper card. The card base is a 4.25" square, and the scalloped circle sits slightly off the top to make it 5.5" tall.
