Wedding Succulents

Friends of ours got married last month in beautiful Zion, Utah.

With a brand new baby (& toddler) we weren't able to attend, but we still wanted to send the happy couple a card and happy wishes! From some photos I had seen of the wedding, succulents were apart of their decorations so what a better choice than to put some succulents on their card!?

Wedding Succulents

I was still in the Distress Ink water-coloring mood when I made this, and decided to try out my newest colors (Abandoned Coral & Mermaid Lagoon- LOVE THEM!). Kept the layout pretty simple with a woodgrain stamped kraft strip and added a modern look with the hexagon embossing.

I hope they've received this by now! Wishing them tons of love on their new journey together and man & wife! ♥

Happily Ever After....

Hello!

Back again today with a wedding card to share :) A friend of my sister's is getting married this weekend in beautiful San Diego- and my adorable 3 year old niece is one of the flower girls!

I made this card using her wedding colors as inspiration- blew the dust off this Stampin' Up! wedding set and it was a perfect match!

Supplies: To Have and to Hold (Stampin' Up!), Circle nestabilites (Spellbinders), Swiss Dots Embossing folder (Cuttlebug), Girls are Weird diecut letters (Sizzix) Prima flowers, pearl and flower gems, string, atyouSpica glitter pen, Copic Markers

Thanks for coming by! Be sure to come back tomorrow for a sneak peak from InStyle Stamps!

Together...

Forever!

I had more motivation from doing my last scrapbook page, to do another! I had been wanting to do something similar for awhile now and with Hero Arts' latest 'complementary' color challenge it gave me the perfect opportunity!

This is a photo from the tea ceremony at my wedding. I thought the black & white photo with a punch of color from the red envelope is a great effect. It's one of my favorite photo from the wedding, and I love the way the page turned out!
Together

I stamped the black cardstock with a design block stamp in watermark dazzle frost ink. It was hard for me to take a good picture of the background- this was the best shot I could get!

Supplies: Asian Dolls; DesignBlock Stencil (both Hero Arts), Paper flower (Making Memories), Scallop border punch (Stampin' Up!), Thickers alpha stickers (American Crafts), Pearl gems, Copic Markers

A Wedding layout...

Something different to share this time, a scrapbook page!

I haven't done as much scrapbooking lately as I would like to be doing... working on fixing that! I did find some time the other night to make this page, I saw a similar layout in the Scrapbooks etc. magazine recently and had a similar picture that fit just perfectly!

Supplies: Paper- Solid cardstocks (Bazzill Basics); Ivory patterned (K Marcella); Chocolate Chalet (Cloud 9); Malang Decorator series & Dot pattern (SEI), Outline Flowers design block (Hero Arts), Thickers- Sprinkles & Pajamas (American Crafts); Scalloped Scallop border punch (EK Success), Prima flowers, pearl gems

I'm working on incorporating more of my stamping into my layouts... I'm not sure why I kept them separate for so long!

Until next time- thanks for stopping in!
