& to all the moms out there! Hope you were all spoiled and pampered like you all so very deserve! :)

I pulled out my colored pencils and OMS that I haven't touched much since Copics took over entered my crafty stash :) and made this card for my mom... & playing along with the Hero Arts challenge this month!

(really need to charge that camera battery and get a better pic...lol )

Vintage-y Mother's Day

Wow! Did you all enjoy the Tiddly Inks Treasure Hunt Blog Hop? (Did you figure out the secret message?) I was totally blown away by everyone's FABULOUS creations!

And now I'm back with some more Tiddly Inks goodness! :) This time with another one of the new images, "You are on my mind"... to go along with this week's challenge Mother's Day with a vintage flair! I gotta admit vintage/shabby chic isn't really my thing- so I did what I thought was 'vintage' and gave it my own twist! :)

TGF - All About Mom!

Time for another scrapbook challenge on The Greeting Farm!  With Mother's Day just days away- what a better time for our theme to be All About Mom!- Now that can be all about your mom or all about being a mom- totally up to you!

Since I don't have any kids- I decided to do a page for MY FABULOUS mom!  I used a picture from my wedding a few years ago.. (I have a similar photo with my dad I might just have to mimick this layout!)

I used the very versatile In the Spotlight Kit once again on my layout!  It's hard to tell in the photo, but to the left of the photo I stamped the ribbon-like background stamp in white ink.

It's time for another Tiddly Inks Challenge!

I can't believe that April is nearly over and Mother's Day is just around the corner!  The Tiddly Inkers thought it was only fitting that we made this week's challenge Mom's day related :)

I used this SUPER adorable Whatcha Doing? girl for my card- I just had to have her when I saw her in the Tiddly Inks store!! 


My mom's favorite color is red/maroon- and I'm still working on finding the right combo for reds with Copics (anyone have suggestions?)

Happy's Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there! (a day early!)

I'm back again for this card I made for the best mom in the world- Mine! When I got my hands on this stamp set I knew immediately I would use them on a card for my mom! Still going on the 'inspired by' theme on Hero Arts, I liked the layout of another win-a-day winners here. The Chinese doll fits perfectly! The "grass" that she is standing on is embossed with an embossing folder.
