I Ruff You!

It's Tuesday which means it's time for a *new* challenge over at Tiddly Inks!

This week we're playing with our furry friends with a Paws for Thought challenge- check out this Animals Inking It Up section in the Tiddly Inks shop and join us for some fun!

I used this SUPER cute I Wuf You image and pieced it together with some coordinating patterned paper scraps...

I ruff you

Don't you just love all that hair?  It was my favorite part to color!

Thanks for stopping by- hope to see you joining in on the Tiddly Inks fun!

Beach Babe

Happy Friday!

Just popping in super quick to share a card I made with this super sweet Wryn-Beach Babe image from Tiddly Inks!

Hi There

Dug through my patterned paper scraps pile to find some coordinating paper to make this card super quick & easy!

Sorry for the short post today... off to enjoy the last day with family in town!

Cacti Shaker

I pulled out this cacti shaker tag I had made back during the first 30 Day Coloring Challenge! (via Kathy Racoosin aka The Daily Marker) I have a nice bowl full or colored images ready for cards now...bring on the next challenge in October! :)

Playing along with the Sparkle & Shine Challenge at Simon Says Stamp (Wednesday Challenge)

Here is what I came up with using this cactus and die set from Hero Arts!

You COLOR my world!

Happy Weekend!

I felt the itch to do some crafting late last night and decided to play with some new to me goodies! (Thanks Ivy!) I loved this cute little crayon set from Lawn Fawn and couldn't wait to get my hands on it- naturally it was the first one I played with!

& to join in the rainbow fun at Lawnscaping Challenges!

I had a couple of ideas running around in my head, but this was the only one that worked out...

I combined the Color my World set with Schoolhouse Backdrops, and lowercase Quinn's ABCs alpha to make the sentiment stand out.

Super Awesome!

I was able to squeeze in some crafty time earlier today while my 2 littles napped (at the same time!) I was actually able to sit down to create something- uninterrupted! Doesn't happen very often, usually by the time I sit down and get all my supplies ready one of them is already up! #craftymamaproblems right?

Anyway, I'm joining in on MFT's Wednesday Sketch Challenge #237

I've been dying to color this super girl from the My Favorite Things You're Super set since I just got her last week (I'd been eyeing her forever!)

I stamped the shield image (from the same set) in Versamark ink to create my own background. It's hard to see in the photo, but there's a layer of vellum that I also stamped with the shield on top of the yellow polka dot paper. Finally, I combined a sentiment from the Penguins in Paradise set to make my own! (the original from the penguin set says, "You make every day cooler")

Wedding Succulents

Friends of ours got married last month in beautiful Zion, Utah.

With a brand new baby (& toddler) we weren't able to attend, but we still wanted to send the happy couple a card and happy wishes! From some photos I had seen of the wedding, succulents were apart of their decorations so what a better choice than to put some succulents on their card!?

Wedding Succulents

I was still in the Distress Ink water-coloring mood when I made this, and decided to try out my newest colors (Abandoned Coral & Mermaid Lagoon- LOVE THEM!). Kept the layout pretty simple with a woodgrain stamped kraft strip and added a modern look with the hexagon embossing.

I hope they've received this by now! Wishing them tons of love on their new journey together and man & wife! ♥

I Dig You

Couldn't let the weekend go by without another post!

Have you seen all the fun that's been going on over on the Passionate Paper Creations Facebook Group?  So much inspiration, fun, and so many awesome encouraging fellow crafters all in one place!

They were having some Tiddly Inks fun this weekend (I'm a little late to the party) but I still wanted to play along! And since Summer is in full swing- I thought this image was appropriate (& has me wishing I was on the beach!)

I Dig You

I had tons of fun coloring this "My Beach Boy" image (& he's only $1 right now!!)- totally reminds me of my son playin' in the sand!

Thanks for stopping by- enjoy the rest of your weekend!
