I was bit by the coloring bug this weekend while digging through some pre-printed digis and I found this cutie from Some Odd Girl...I can't believe I've never colored her before! I'm pretty sure I *need* more of these images!

1st Birthday

Today is my "baby" boy's FIRST birthday!! Just popping in with a quick post to share some of the decorations I made for his birthday party!

I wanted to make the decorations myself (of course).  We came up with having a Sesame Street party because my little guy loves Cookie Monster especially watching the C is for cookie song! :)

I put together this for the invite using Photoshop (since I don't have any Sesame Street images to color myself!)


I made these birthday banners using felt & ribbon...


Some pompoms..


and finally what's a party without some cake/cupcakes?

Look Who's 1!

I can't believe it.. I'm still in denial...my baby boy is going to be ONE in a week! The past year has certainly flown by!



We're having a birthday party for him this weekend (a Sesame Street party- pics of the decorations I've made coming soon!) and of course this mama's got to make her sweet boy his FIRST birthday card :)



I altered the Birthday Ian stamp slightly to change the banner saying, and I'm playing along with The Greeting Farm's Retro Fresh Challenge to use Polka Dots and/or plaid- just perfect for a little boy card! :)  I'm also joining in on the sketchy fun at Retro Sketches (I rotated & added few embellishments to their sketch!)

Sending Sunshine

We're definitely getting PLENTY of sunshine around here! We've already hit the 90's and it doesn't look like 100 degrees is too far away :(

Like I said in my previous post I'm trying to find & enter more challenges- (please let me know of any others out there!), and with this one I decided to enter a few!



The Greeting Farm is celebrating Earth Day with this week's Double Take Tuesday challenge- I thought this Peace image was just perfect! I chose to play along with the color combo (I had lots of fun coloring her tie-dye shirt!)

I'm also entering this into Simon Says Stamp Challenge: Anything Goes, AND I used Deconstructed Sketch #99!

This time I used "Knitting Jessy"...  my mom & my sisters all knit/crochet so she is just a perfect image for all of them. I finished off the card with some more buttons and twine of course! :)
