Happily Ever After....

Hello!

Back again today with a wedding card to share :) A friend of my sister's is getting married this weekend in beautiful San Diego- and my adorable 3 year old niece is one of the flower girls!

I made this card using her wedding colors as inspiration- blew the dust off this Stampin' Up! wedding set and it was a perfect match!

Supplies: To Have and to Hold (Stampin' Up!), Circle nestabilites (Spellbinders), Swiss Dots Embossing folder (Cuttlebug), Girls are Weird diecut letters (Sizzix) Prima flowers, pearl and flower gems, string, atyouSpica glitter pen, Copic Markers

Thanks for coming by! Be sure to come back tomorrow for a sneak peak from InStyle Stamps!

Birthday Flowers...

For my mother-in-law, today is her birthday!

Her favorite color is orange so I wanted to use this Flower wood background stamp for this natural floral look!

Supplies: Flower Wood Background (Hero Arts), Upsy Daisy-sentiment (Stampin' Up!), Stylized flowers embossing folder (Cuttlebug), Scalloped circle nestabilties (Spellbinders), Inkssentials white gel pen (Ranger), Prima flowers, pearl gems, Copic Markers

I'm still addicted to using kraft paper, and my white gel pen for faux stitching- I just love the look it gives a completed card!

Thanks for stopping in!

Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #9

And here is my card, I pulled out this stamp that I haven't used in awhile...

Supplies: Upsy Daisy (Stampin' Up!), All Occasion Messages (Hero Arts), Rectangle & Scalloped Rectangle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), buttons, ribbon

Glad I had a chance to participate in the color challenge this time and look forward to more!

Twin Birthdays

Hi! A mid-week post for me! I had some time to stamp last night (mostly due to some procrastination on my part!) Tomorrow is the third birthday of our twin niece & nephew! I had to get these cards done to get them out to the mail in time!

I had this stamp set from Stampin' Up! for awhile- he loves "diggers!" I distressed the edges to rough it up a bit and make it more boyish!

Supplies: Little Trucks (Stampin' Up!), Botz Quotz (Stampendous), Jute string, Copic Markers

Now this one is for the little girl- I guess I enjoy doing girly cards more! Maybe it's all the fun embellishments I can add to it- the flowers, the bling & the glitter!

Supplies: Castle; Frog, Carriage (all Imaginisce), Scallop Square diecut Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Scallop border punch (Stampin' Up!), Prima flowers, gems, Copic Markers

Hope the Twins have a fabulous birthday! Thanks for stopping in!

Favorites & some cakes!

Had to squeeze in just one more post before the night/weekend was over! This week over at Hero Arts- we were to use our favorites, even before I owned this Four Dolls set it became an immediate favorite! I just can't get enough of them- they are just so SUPER cute!

I had this idea of making them more 3-dimensional last night (as I was drifting off to sleep- can we say I'm addicted?) I had some time this afternoon to actually play with the idea and this is was my result:

Supplies: Four Dolls, Asian Elements, Thoughtful Messages (all Hero Arts), Floral Screen embossing folder (Cuttlebug-Provocraft), Sakura flower punch, Stickles, Copics

A few weeks back was the birthday challenge- I didn't have the chance til tonight to post the few I made for that one here, so I'm doing it now! Also wanted to add a big WOOHOO to my sister for winning the "Fresh Face" in that challenge with this card! (Check out her blog here too!)

Again, the first one is using one of the adorable dolls set :)

Supplies: Four Dolls, DesignBlock Birthday, Sweet Moments (Hero Arts), Circle punch, Scallop circle nestabilities (Spellbinders), gems, Copics

Using another one of the stamped images I borrowed from my sister, I made this card with a row of yummy cakes!

Supplies: Sweet Moments (Hero Arts); Simply Sweet (Stampin' Up!), Liquid Applique, Stickles, Gems, Buttons, Ribbon

Keep scrolling down for my Valentine's projects!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Ok- so I'm a day late but better late than never right?

Here are a couple of Valentine's that I made this year.
This one for my sister- (Gave my other 2 sisters the MFT cards previously posted)

This one for my husband:

Treats for my co-workers, I found this box pattern on Splitcoast and just had to try it, it was SUPER-easy which made the mass production a breeze! They are the perfect size to fit yummy Ghiradelli squares (3 filled or 4 plain):

A co-worker had also ordered some special valentine's for her husband and her son's teachers.

This pattern for this box was also found on Splitcoast under "Gable box"

Random cards

Some miscellaneous cards I've done recently- not for any challenges, just for fun and for occassions that just came up.

This card was totally for fun- I remembered that my sister had stamped out some of these adorable hedgehogs from her collection for me and it was just calling out to be colored!

Supplies: Butterfly Wishes, Salutations (Penny Black); Swiss Dots embossing folder (Cuttlebug-Provocraft), Prima flowers

This card is for a good friend's husband. He works for Home Depot and had ordered cards from me in the past-always using this little guy, thought he looked so much like the Home Depot mascot/logo "Homer".

Supplies: Little Trucks (Stampin' Up!), Wavy Good Thoughts (Hero Arts); Scallop border punch (Stampin' Up!), Scallop circle diecut- (Nestabilities-Spellbinders)

And finally, last week was my boss's birthday and this was the card I made for him!

Supplies: Fun & Fast Notes (Stampin' Up!), Scallop border punch (Stampin' Up!), Scallop Square diecut (Nestabilities-Spellbinders) Gridlines on the cardbase was done using Scorpal.

Hopefully I'll be posting a few more things I have in the works (in my head) before the weekend is over!

Thanks for stopping in!

Mojo Sketch #68

I am finally caught up with all my posts from the holidays!

It's been a while since I participated in a Mojo Monday sketch challenge from the new Mojo Monday blog! When I saw the sketch I knew exactly what I wanted to do- My longest friend is getting married next weekend and I need a card for the wedding. (Hopefully she's too busy right now to be reading this!!)

I decided to use one of my new sets I received for Christmas (thanks Megan!)

(The sketch)

and here is my card, I went a little crazy with the stickles- I outlined the veil, dress and the prima flowers, but I think it added the perfect amount of sparkle :)!

Supplies: To Have and to Hold (Stampin' Up!), Special Day (Inkadinkado), Scalloped Square & Oval diecuts (Nestabilities-Spellbinders), Stickles

Thanks for stopping by!

Green with Daisies!

I'm still working on my Christmas cards... getting a pretty good head start on them too!

Yesterday was my sister's birthday, had to wait for her to recieve the card before I could post it here since I know she checks this page (Happy Birthday!)

Supplies: Upsy Daisy (Stampin' Up!), Bird & Swirls embossing folder (Cuttlebug- Provocraft), Making Memories Patterned Paper

(I stamped the image first with my stamp normally, and again without re-inking to create the shadow. The stamped image circle is also slighted raised of the card with pop dots.)

That's all I have for now- Hope everyone has an absolutely wonderful Turkey-filled Thanksgiving tomorrow!!
