2nd post today- check out my first post for Sister Stamps here!
I wanted to make a card for a crafty friend of mine to go along with a few goodies I found that totally made me think of her! (had to wait til she got them til I posted- Hi Libby!)
She's a big fan of bicycling and this Bicycle Kaylee image immediately jumped onto my craft desk! :) & breaking into my 6x6 paper pad stash to find this perfect bicycle paper to go with! :)
Hope you are all enjoying your Saturdays...until next time! Happy Crafting!
(I also wanted to give a quick shout out to all those that voted in the Paper Crafts Gallery Idol contest- unfortunately for me I did not make it to the next round... Best of luck to the top 15!)

Sister Stamps Guest DT: Sakuras!
Happy Friday (again)... 2nd post of the day, 1st post HERE!
So here is my final card of the new Sister Stamps new release: Sakuras! I love sakura flowers and hope that someday I'll be able to see the cherry blossoms festival in D.C.!
I wasn't quite sure of what I wanted to do with this set when I received it.. but it wasn't long after seeing Jennifer McGuire share a new technique of coloring with pigment inks (since I also just acquired some Memento Luxe ink pads) that this idea immediately popped to mind...
I had left a group of the solid sakura rubber stamps together (instead of cutting out each individual one) to stamp the left side using white pigment ink. I then went back with a paper stump- since that's all I have on hand, and colored this inside of the sakuras in Memento Luxe Ink Lilac Posies & adding dots of Love Letter ink to the centers. I also colored the leaves in Pear Tart ink. There were still a few bare spots so I went back with some of the open line sakuras stamps to fill in with versamark ink & some more DIY enamel dots! Sentiment is from Winnie & Walter (The Big, the Bold, & the Happy)
Here's another view of the coloring
and it turns out this matches the photo for Winnie & Walter's Playdate #2 challenge too!
Here's more from the Sister Stamps DT:
Debi
Eva
Linda (don't forget her YouTube channel too!)
and of course the Sister Stamps Blog! You have until 11:59 HST TONIGHT to leave a comment THIS POST @Sister Stamps for your chance to win a lil Momotaro for yourself!

Sister Stamps Guest DT- Momotaro
Now what's a little baby girl image (Sakura-chan) without a little boy image to match? Today I'm sharing another one of Sister Stamps' new June release- MOMOTARO! He's just as sweet as his twin sis...
Now this one definitely made me swoon since I have lil (but really not so little) baby boy (he's 2!) myself! I'm thinking I might just have to color another one of these up to add to one of his earlier scrapbook pages!
I found the cute special delivery washi tape in the dollar bin at my Joann's and thought it was the perfect little add-on for this sweet baby boy card... now who's having a baby soon?

Hello Foxy!
Hooray It's Friday!!
& that means it's time for another Farm Fresh Friday an The Greeting Farm!! This week Jodi put together this sketch for us to use...
I decided to give some more ink-lovin' to the Foxy WS Wild Child- I'm just obsessed with everything fox related lately! :)
After I made my card I realized that I had reversed the patterned paper triangles in the background from how they are in the sketch- oopsie ;)
As always check The Greeting Farm blog on all the details of how to enter & more inspiration from the rest of the design team!! Happy Weekend!

Sister Stamps Guest DT- Sakura-Chan
I was so sweetly asked by Jenni at Sister Stamps if I would guest design for the June release- HOW COULD I SAY NO!?! I love these sweet images and jumped at the opportunity! & being Asian themed they're one of my favorites!
This month's release is totally sweet and I colored them the second I received them! :) So today I'm sharing with you Sakura-Chan. She is a total sweetheart and I absolutely fell in love with her especially with her lil piggy-tails!
I paired her with some pastel pinks and greens, added the sentiment from Hero Arts that I've had in my stash. Finished it off with a big fat bow, some faux stitching and this card it ready for a new mama & baby! :) (You can actually see a peek of another one of the new releases here too!)
I can't wait to show you the other cards I've created with this release... BUT you'll have to wait til Thursday & Friday for that! :)
Until then, check out out the design team whipped up:

Happy Birthday Mom!
I got some *new to me* stampy goodies this weekend and had to use them on a card for my mom's birthday today!
I've been wanting to play with my copics on kraft paper and thought this Hero Arts Everything Flowers stamp was a perfect image! I also added the happy die from Simon Says Stamp to finish off the birthday message!
and if you couldn't tell I'm obsessed with my DIY enamel dots... I need to make more!
I'm linking this up to the Anything Goes Challenge over @Simon Says Stamp {Wednesday} Challenge too!
Happy Wednesday!
& there's still some time to vote in the Paper Crafts Gallery Idol if you haven't done so already! I'm totally in awe to be in a group of these fabulous ladies- and would totally LOVE your support! Thank You! :)

Gallery Idol Round 2!
AAAAHHHHH!! I'm still in shock!
I made to the Top 20 in the Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking Gallery Idol contest with my washi tape card here! I still can't believe it...someone pinch me! I am among some pretty fabulous ladies and some pretty tough competition.. but am honored to have made it to the first round.
Round 2's theme is die-cutting. I was so excited on Friday of the news that I had attempted to make a card that night... but failed miserably. LOL... after finally getting some zzz's I was able to come up with my entry. After lots of playing and plenty of scraps of paper late- I am pretty pleased with what I was able to come up with!
I first cut a circle from kraft using a circle nestabilities. Then, diecut the largest flower from My Favorite Things Plentiful Petals, and then again using the middle sized flower- but offset the petals in between the larger petals. I inlayed the largest flower diecut that I had colored using copics, topped with the smallest flower diecut (also colored with copics) that I had also wrapped the center with baker's twine and added some white & glitter dots! I added the hello die from Simon Says Stamp that is stacked 5 layers for some extra dimension and some clear embossing powder. The "friend" stamp is from Winnie & Walter's The Big, the Bold & the Happy set. Finished it off with some faux stitching and enamel dots and I called this card DONE! WHEW!
Here's a close up of the diecutting...
Thank you so much for stopping by and I would TRULY appreciate your votes to make it to the next round!

Get Well Soon
Apart of my washi tape kick from this weekend, I put together this quick card using Take Care My Friend digi from Chi Chi Memories. I picked some bright springy colors that I thought would be a cheerful note for someone feeling 'under the weather.'
I've also decided to work on the way I take photos of my cards & updated my watermark! Hope you like! ;)
Thanks for stopping by- don't forget to play along with the Chi Chi Memories challenge!

Washi Macarons!
One more card to squeeze in for the Paper Crafts Gallery Idol contest!
A few weeks ago I had seen this magazine ad for Waverly fabrics and it stuck with me...
and it gave me the perfect idea for my card, and another reason to play with my new (& first!) Avery Elle stamp set- Bonjour! I've been a little obsessed with macarons lately. My sister, nieces & I made them for the first time a few weeks ago & they were tasty! Definitely going to make them again!
I paper pieced (well sort of- since the washi tape is translucent I stamped the macaron image on card stock, cut it out, placed the washi tape over the image and trimmed the extra- instead of stamping on the washi tape itself.) the macarons and stacked them and added a flag with the a sentiment from the same stamp set.
Hope that give you a SWEET start to a Monday morning! Thanks for stopping by!

Happy {Washi} Birthday!
It's no big surprise that I've joined the "I'm addicted to washi tape" club! LOL
So when I saw that the Gallery Idol Contest was happening and the first round of submissions had to include washi tape I HAD to play along!
I instantly had this idea pop into my head and I wanted to give it a try here, I used the inlayed-diecut technique with this Simon Says Stamp Happy die. & joining the die crazy challenge at SSS too!
and finally, I tried my hand at making some DIY enamel dots using perler beads. These are so cool I will definitely be making more!! They just *might* be my newest addiction! It didn't come in gold so I just colored a white one with a gold sharpie marker.
Thanks for stopping by!

Hello Summer!
TGIF! which means it's time for another Farm Fresh Friday at The Greeting Farm!
It's definitely feeling like summer around here already.. forecast says we're going to hit 104 degrees (F) this weekend- YIKES! (Hard to believe when I heard that my SIL in Colorado had a snowy Mother's Day!) So what a better image to use than this sweet Miss Anya Summer!
This week's challenge (hosted by Chitra) is to use a stencil. I've been playing around a bit with stencils and decided to use some embossing paste- and only just a portion of the stencil instead the whole thing... It's a bit hard to see in the photo but I also used some iridescent embossing powder on top of the paste to give it a slight shimmer. :)
Hope to see you play along with us this week! Happy Weekend!

Bringing Back Memories!
It's almost summer (and well starting to feel that way here already!), the school year is ending and it's Prom season for the high schools.. it's so fun seeing all the groups of dressed up teens out at the restaurants before their big dance! Brings back memories!
and just in time Chi Chi Memories has this fabulous Prom Girl image- she's so sweet! I'm still slightly obsessed with the teal/aqua color an decided to toss in some coral accents...
and somehow this one didn't get posted last week (darn blogger!) I absolutely love this Cheerleader girl & I just HAD to color her up using my college colors- Maroon & Gold- Go Sun Devils!

I Love You...
and Coffee!
Happy Monday readers! Thought the perfect pick me up for this Monday morning would be a little dose of caffeine (even if it's on a card!)
I finally had the chance to play with this new Hero Arts - Need Caffeine set! it was also the first set that popped into my head when I saw the sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch #75!
Except I decided to rotate it to make it work better with the sentiment! :)
Slowly but surely getting my crafty mojo back... Thanks for stopping by!

You are...
Awesome, Amazing, Gorgeous... should I keep going?
I couldn't wait to get this last Miss Anya Summer girl colored. I went for another clean and simple look as I wanted to let her shine all on her own! I combined her with The Big, the Bold, and the You stamp set from Winnie & Walter to create this...
I just love the mix of the handwriting and typed sentiments together (I wish I could write like that!) I'm joining in on the fun at the Moxie Fab Handwriting challenge! Of course I had to finish off the card with a border of faux stitching! I think it gives a finished look & makes the card complete- I'm entering this in Virginia's View Challenge #3 too!
Happy Weekend! I'm off to celebrate my son's SECOND birthday party today!

Happy Mother's Day!
Hi all!
I'm back after taking a week vacation with the family to North Cali! As well as celebrating my little boy's SECOND birthday on Wednesday... oh my I can't believe he's already 2!
My crafty mojo also went on vacation and finally decided to come back & just in time for this week's Farm Fresh Friday Challenge @The Greeting Farm. It's a special FFF this week as Sunday is Mother's Day here in the US!
I decided to use another one of the Miss Anya's from the new Summer set & I gotta say I love them all- can't wait to show you what I did with the third girl! ;)
I kept my card quick, clean and simple...
Now to whip up a few more of these for my sisters! Hope to see you join in on the FFF fun! :)
