You're the Best!

Happy Monday!

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend!

We did all we could to stay out of the heat, we've had 100+ degree temps & extreme heat warnings for days... blah!

Anyway, just thought I'd pop in to share the card that I made for my dad for Father's Day!

You're the Best Succulents

I love these succulents stamps from Simon Says Stamps! I've *just* expanded my real succulents collection (and want more!) in my garden, they are SO easy!

That's all for today, thanks for stopping by!

You're Awesome... We Love You!

Happy Father's Day!

I'm popping in quick to share a card for my husband, 'from' my kids for Father's Day today!

I colored these sweet critters from Mama Elephant's Three Amigos! & the "you're the best" sentiment is from the Origami set.

You're the Best

I mirror-stamped the fox so they would be facing each other, and added a bow for a little girl ;)

Thanks for stopping by, hope you all enjoy your Sundays celebrating Dad!

FORE!!

Father's Day is just around the corner so I'm attempting to be prepared and have them done early this year!

When I saw the challenge at CAS-ual Fridays was masculine cards- it was just the nudge I needed!  Kraft is usually my "go-to" for guy cards, but NO KRAFT is allowed AND we had to add ribbon! This got me thinking and here is what I came up with using the golf cart from Paper Smooches My Guy...

Fore!

I tried die-cutting ribbon and IT WORKED- Sweet! :) I also diecut the triangle to make it look like the golf flagsticks that mark where the hole is.

I'm also entering this in Paper Smooches' Anything Goes challenge this week!

Until tomorrow... happy stamping!

For this card I'm joining the fun at The Twinery- It's an Anything Goes challenge & Die-cut Divas Guys & Boys challenge too!

Happy Father's Day

(a day late!)

Hope you all enjoyed the weekends and had a wonderful Father's Day with the men in your families!

I went to my LSS looking for some ink refills (which they were out of) and walked out with this set from Hero Arts!

Something a little different for me since I ♥ coloring so much! Anyway, I used the stamp on the right to make my dad his Father's Day card:
Thanks Dad
Supplies:
- Vine Scrolls, Chinese Thank You, butterfly-Good Fortune (Hero Arts)
- Ink: Versamark Dazzle Frost, Broken China; Peeled Paint & Dusty Concord Distress Ink
- Other: ribbon, buttons

I stamped the Vine Scrolls & butterflies  twice w/Peeled Paint & Dusty Concord distress inks with re-inking in between stamping, embossed with clear embossing powder.  Then applied Broken China distress ink around the edges using a sponge applicator.

Thanks for all you do DAD!

{& Thanks to you for stopping by today! I'll be back again tomorrow w/the next Tiddly Inks Tuesday Challenge!}

Father's Day

After the Stampin' Up class- I made my own version of the wallet card, and another card to decide between to give my dad..

and this one:

I ended up picking the wallet one- and each one of my sisters and I signed a 'credit card' that's inserted in each of the pockets. Jason & I went to a house-warming party for some good friends of ours on Saturday night, and I made this card for them:

Thanks for looking!
