Thanks for Picking Me!

Happy May!

A new month means a new challenge at Tiddly Inks! And this month we're BLOOMING with flowers!

I 'picked' this sweet Poppy Wryn and gave her a rainbow colored poppy dress!

Picking Me

I'm still in a bit of a card making funk... I recently started getting into crocheting cute amigurumi critters and totally got hooked! (more on that in a different post!) - but hoping to get back into it soon- coloring this rainbow of flowers definitely helped & I have a few un-inked stamps calling my name!

Be sure to head over to the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog for all the details on the BLOOMING BEAUTIFUL challenge!

Road trippin'

Oops, Almost forgot to post this! (it's been a bit of a hectic week!)

Tiddly Inks is back with a new monthly challenge, ROAD TRIP!

I used this super fun image of Wryn Scooting by for my card, she comes in some different variations too- the other give her a furry sidekick riding along!

Life's adventures

Added some cute coordinating patterned papers & a doily to pull it all together. (My sentiment is from Hero Arts.)

Now I want to go on road trip!

Hope to see you join the fun!

Need a hug?

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

It's the first Tuesday of the month which means its new challenge day at Tiddly Inks! This month's challenge theme is Animal Magic!

I decided to go with this sweet Penguin image Christy of Tiddly Inks created as a freebie to share a little love with all that is going on in the world today... Be Cool & Love Each Other

Love Each other

I colored the penguins in 3 shades of Copic grays (neutral, cool, & warm) and die cut the image using a Stitched tag die from Pretty Pink Posh. Keeping my card simple to allow the penguins shine, I added a simple sentiment from Lawn Fawn and put it all together using coordinating paper scraps, sequins, & a tiny wood veneer heart!

Hoping to see you play along with us... you have a whole month! Check out the details and more fabulous inspiration from the rest of the design team HERE!

Stuck with YOU!

TIDDLY INKS is back after a holiday break to kick off the new year with a *NEW* challenge...

LOVE!

Stuck with you

If you didn't already know I'm a little obsessed with cacti &  succulents... so I thought it would be cute to transform Wryn's heart plant into a succulent with some teeny spikes!  Using coordinating patterned papers, I stamped a cactus (from My Favorite Things) in Versamark ink & heat embossed using clear powder, the sentiment is also from the same MFT set. I tied on some twine before adding my colored image.

Copics:
skin: E000, E00, E21, R01
hair: E25, E27, E29, W9
dress: RV66, RV69, C3
shoes: C1, C3, C5
plant: YG25, G14, G17
ground: E31, E35, W3, W5

Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you join us for this new challenge! AND we've made some changes for the challenge- instead of a new challenge every 2 weeks, challenges will now run a month long! Which means MORE time to play along!!

Happy Haunting!

Hello!

Sorry it's been a few days since my last post... last minute preparations for Halloween going on around here- including a last minute decision to put together some costumes for my husband & me since we're headed to a party with friends (& kids) this weekend- we'd be bums if we didn't have a costume!

Anyway, I'm popping in to share another Halloween card- I'm squeezing in as many as I can before I switch over to Christmas/holiday cards! For today's card, I colored up another one of my Tiddly Inks favorites- PeekaBoo Bugg! She's just the cutest and one that I can never get tired of coloring!

Happy Haunting

Pretty simple card, colored and matched up with some coordinating Halloween patterned papers, & sentiment.

Copics:
skin: E000, E00, E21, R01
hair: G24, G28, YG03, YG17
clothes/hat: V12, V15, V17, YR14, YR16

Flying by to say...

BOO!

There's a new Tiddly Inks Challenge going on and it's SPOOKALICIOUS!

I used this new witch Molly image (that you can get as a two-some, with another Halloween Molly- I used her here!)

Flying By to say... BOO!

My finished card is TOTALLY not what I originally had in mind when I started coloring her, I had a big ink blob fall right next to her foot! So I fussy cut her out and layered her with some Halloween themed patterned paper, die cut tags- the purple tag I embossed using a Tim Holtz/Sizzix embossing folder, and adhered Molly using some foam tape. The sentiment is two stamps from a Hero Arts Halloween sentiment set (doesn't look like it's available anymore), I cut the words apart after I stamped them, inked up the edges a bit so it wasn't so white compared to the rest of the card, and adhered those on top of some random strips of glittery black washi tape.

Copics:
skin: G20, G21, G24
hair: E44. E47, E49, V04
dress/hat: N3, N5, N7, V04, V06, V09

I hope to see you join in on the SPOOKALICIOUS challenge! Thanks for stopping by!!

All About the Treat!

Happy Friday!!

Popping with a quick share using one of Tiddly Inks' newer Molly images...

Molly's Treat!

Molly's Treat

Love her oversized lollipops... and thought they would be fun to make with some bakers twine.  With Halloween creeping up soon, I picked some fun coordinating colors. Kept my card super simple and adhered her to some stripey patterned paper and added the matching sentiment!

Copics:
skin: E000, E00, E11, E21, R01
hair: C3, 100, YR24
dress: V12, V15, V17
shoes; N3, N5, N7

Thanks for stopping by.. have a FABULOUS weekend!

Pumpkin Patch Molly

It's FINALLY feeling a little more like fall around here, and by that I mean it's under 100*F!

Awesome timing for the newest challenge over at the Tiddly Inks Challenge... Happy Fall Y'all!

I used the a NEW sweet Molly image, Pumpkin Patch Molly (She's available with another sweet Halloween Molly image too!)

Pumpkin Molly

Isn't she the cutest?! I kept my card nice and simple with just coloring her and die cutting the image using a Mama Elephant Sew Fancy dies- love that it cuts and pierces the stitching all in one! I added the sentiment from Lawn Fawn's Happy Harvest stamp set, adhered it using craft foam to some coordinating- fall-ish plaid paper, added a bow & some sequins to pull it all together!

Copics:
skin: E000, E00, E11, E21, R20
hair: C3, 100
pumpkin: YR12, YR14, YR16, YR18, YG17, YG15, YG67
ground: E31, E33, E35
sky/shadow: B000, B00, B01, 0

Hope to see you join in on the fall fun! Check out the details on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog!!

You're BREW-tiful!

2nd post today... I just had to get another card in for the Coffee Lovers Blog hop! How could I not with it being National Coffee Day??

This time I used one of the newer Molly images from Tiddly Inks, Molly's Cup of Love!

Brew-tiful

I just love her giant mug of sparkly hearts! I colored her in some warm fall colors (& I think I found a new favorite orange combination!) I love keeping cards with these Tiddly Inks girls clean and simple so they get all the focus... I added a sentiment from The Greeting Farm's Mini-Remix Brewtiful stamp set. Completed my card with some Spectrum Noir sparkle pen and a border of faux stitching.

Copics:
skin: E000, E00, E11, E21, R01
hair: E31, E33, E35, E37, E29
dress/headband: YR04, YR07, E09, E18
mug: B34, B37, B39; hearts: YG63, YR04, BG72; R37

Thanks for stopping by! I'm off to enjoy my coffee!

Mermaid to be...

Yes... I'm back with *another* mermaid card... are you tired of them yet? Yeah- me either! LOL- there's just so many fabulous little mermaids out there, I can't get enough of them!

I'm sharing today a card I made for the newest ANYTHING GOES challenge over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog!

I used this awesome Wryn the Mermaid digi...

Mermaid to be..

I kept my card simple to let her shine as the focus on the card. I blended some blues and aqua distress inks onto an embossed background and adhered her with foam tape. Added a sweet sentiment from The Greeting Farm onto a flag die by Creative Basics.

Copics:
skin: E000, E00, E21, R20
hair: RV14, RV17, RV19
top: V12, V15

Smart Cookie!

Happy Tuesday!

Here in my neck of the blog-world school has already begun. Thankfully- not for my kids (yet) I'll be a wreck next fall when my son starts Kindergarten!

So... this week's new Tiddly Inks challenge is... BACK TO SCHOOL!

Smart Cookie

I found some super cute cursive handwriting and number washi tape at the dollar spot at Target, and paired it with some school themed patterned paper from my 6x6 pads stash. The yellow flag is from my new favorite die cut from Creative Basics, Basic Stitched Flags. The sentiment comes as part of the Wryn digi set.

Hope you are all ready for Back to School where you are... and hope to see you squeeze in some time to play along!

Waving Hello...

Hello!

Sorry I've been missing for a bit... the designers over at Tiddly Inks took a bit of a mini vacation & I used that time trying to get myself caught up and (somewhat) organized.. anyone else get lost while trying to clean and organize their craft areas?

Anyway, It's time for a new Tiddly Inks Challenge- and this one is perfect for summer! (not sure about any of you but we're still feeling the extreme heat here!) UNDER THE SEA!

If you follow me on Instagram, you would have noticed that I've had a bit of a mermaid obsession... and it all pretty much started during the 30 Day Coloring Challenge, because I started with coloring these cuties, Amy & Her Mini Mermaid Friends...

Mini Mermaid 1 Mini Mermaid 2 Mini Mermaid 3
Mini Mermaid 4 Mini Mermaid 5

So for this challenge, I thought it'd be a good idea to actually *USE* one of these on my card.  I decided to go with the second one and make a shaker card!

Under the Sea

This was so much fun to make! I had purchased seed beads awhile ago with the intent to make more shakers, and never got into it... THAT is about to change! Besides, I have plenty of mermaids to work with now :)

For my card, I used distress inks (salty ocean, seedless preserves, mermaid lagoon, peacock feathers) to create and under the sea looking background and frame. Splattered water drops for a fun effect,  mounted it to an embossed background, finished it off by adding a few sequins to the stop and adding the 'waving hello' sentiment (from The Greeting Farm).

Thanks for stopping by... hope to see you play along with us UNDER THE SEA!

What's Cooking?

Hooray! It's *almost* Friday!

I have something fun coming up tomorrow- I can't wait to share!

But first, let's start some fun right here! Anyone having a BBQ cookout this weekend? Popping in to share this card I made with Wryn the BBQ Queen from Tiddly Inks!

What's Cooking?

I
colored this fun image when I colored Wryn Floating Along last week when I was trying to decide which to use for the Summer challenge! (psst... you still have a few days left to play along!)

Thanks for stopping by!

Let's Chill

Tiddly Ink Tuesday Time!

We're totally in the middle of the summer heat here in AZ! Ugh! So this challenge is just in time... SUMMER SUN!

Here's how I want to be spending the rest of my summer...

Let's Chill

Floating in the pool with a nice cool drink in hand! Wryn Floating Along knows how to keep cool!

While coloring her (with Copics) I decided that her floatable needed to look like a doughnut- with sprinkles of course- since I've been seeing them all over the stores and online! LOL! I masked off a large circle to trace and create the sun, I finished it paired a few pieces of patterned paper and mounted it on an embossed card base.

Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to check out the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog for all the details on how to play along!

Molly Floats

Happy Friday peeps!

I'm so glad the weekend is *finally* here!

Popping in to share a card I made with another new Molly image from Tiddly Inks.... Molly Floats!

HBD Molly

I colored sweet Molly with copics (of course) and covered the balloons in glossy accents. It's a bit hard to see, but I stamped the background piece in Versamark with a Hero Arts background stamp (design block-Special Day Words), the flag banner is from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps, Creative Basics, and the colored dots my DIY enamel dots (aka melted perler beads).

Thanks for stopping by... I'll be back shortly with another post!

You're the Best!

It's Tiddly Inks Tuesday!
Which means it's time for a new challenge! This week we're challenging you to MAKE IT POP!

I decided to challenge myself to make a side-step card... I've seen them all over blogland and really wanted to try one for myself! It took a couple of tries (it was late night!) but once I got all the measurements and score lines right- it was easy peasy!

You're the Best

I used one of the newest images to the shop Molly Shares, colored (with copics of course!), fussy cut her out and added her on foam tape to the tall side of the step card. I die cut 3 circles and stamped the sentiment (from Mama Elephant) to add some fun pop ups to each of the "steps."

I hope to see you join us on this fun MAKE IT POP challenge!
