Happy Valentine's Day!

Hello! Happy ❤️ Day!!

Quick post today to share this card I made for my kiddos to give their Dada for Valentine's Day!

Looove You

I thought this ADORABLE image from C.C. designs was a perfect match for my son & daughter! Paired it with a sentiment from Mama Elephant's Origami stamp set since my kids looove to be silly and say love it all different ways!

I created my card, using the CASe This Sketch for challenge 208!

That's all for today- hope you have wonderful Valentine's Day!

Stuck with YOU!

TIDDLY INKS is back after a holiday break to kick off the new year with a *NEW* challenge...

LOVE!

Stuck with you

If you didn't already know I'm a little obsessed with cacti &  succulents... so I thought it would be cute to transform Wryn's heart plant into a succulent with some teeny spikes!  Using coordinating patterned papers, I stamped a cactus (from My Favorite Things) in Versamark ink & heat embossed using clear powder, the sentiment is also from the same MFT set. I tied on some twine before adding my colored image.

Copics:
skin: E000, E00, E21, R01
hair: E25, E27, E29, W9
dress: RV66, RV69, C3
shoes: C1, C3, C5
plant: YG25, G14, G17
ground: E31, E35, W3, W5

Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you join us for this new challenge! AND we've made some changes for the challenge- instead of a new challenge every 2 weeks, challenges will now run a month long! Which means MORE time to play along!!

Hedgehugs With You

Hello!

I've finally had the itch to get crafty again, I mean there is so much cute stuff calling my name on my desk!

I'm also joining the latest MFT card sketch challenge #318

I decided that these cute hedgies were shouting at me the loudest...

Hedgehugs with you

Using the mushrooms from the hedgehog set as well as from You Gnome Me, I stamped them randomly in Versamark ink and colored them with copics for a soft background. I masked the 2 hedgies nose to nose and fussy cut them out. I created my sentiment using words from Fall Friends, it originally says 'I Love Hanging Out with you', I just switched the 'hanging out' with the word 'Hedgehugs!'  I finished putting my card together with washi tape on the edge and some faux white stitching.

Copics
Mushrooms: R14, R17, R24, R27, R29, R35, R37, R43, R46, R59
Hedgies: E000, E00, E21, E50, E51, E53, E70, E74, E77, E70, R01, R20
Scarves: R17, R37, R46, R81, R83, R85, B23, B24, B26, G14, G17, YG25

Love You x2

February is the month of LOVE right?

Feels like that's been the general theme of my post recently :) Either that or I just have a lot of nieces to make valentines for!

These last two cards are for my oldest 2 nieces that live out of state, I wanted to wait til they received them before I posted (I post on Instagram- and they follow me on there, I didn't want to ruin the surprise!)

I turned to one of my favorites- Amor Anya from The Greeting Farm!

Love You (Pink)

Love You (purple)

My two nieces are in their teens, so I tried to make the cards a little more hip and appear like they would be selfies that they would post on Instagram! I also made the cards smaller and square-ish, it's a 4.25" x 4."

Ok, that's it for now... thanks for stopping by!

Happy Valentine's Day!

It's Valentine's Day!  Hope you're spending it with your someone special ♥

I pulled out this super sweet Sweetie Bean stamp from The Greeting Farm to make some 'non-traditional' colored Valentines for 2 of my nieces since they're not super into pink.

This first one is for my niece that LOVES orange...
Orange Valentine

and here's the other that I'm entering into The Greeting Farm's Touch of Red challenge!

Sweet Blue

I'm loving the red and blue color combo and thought it would make a sweet valentine! ♥

Wishing I snapped some better photos of these cards... but I was in a rush to get out the door yesterday to get these to them!

I have 2 other valentine's to share.. but will wait another few days to share as they are still on their way to two more nieces via snail mail!

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Great Chemistry!

Happy Tiddly Inks Tuesday- it's time for a *NEW* challenge!!!

This week's theme is LOVE! Just in time... Valentine's Day is right around the corner!!

I pulled out some oldies (but always goodies) Chemical Love for my card today...

Great Chemistry

I printed these two scientists together and thought they made some Great Chemistry together! (I made my own sentiment using word). They were looking a little plain, so I decided to mount them on some glitter cardstock and die cut a small heart in between them to show that *spark* of love. ♥ I also found the patterned paper in one of my (ahem...many) 6x6 stacks of paper and thought they looked like little atoms and bursts of chemicals and a perfect match to this perfect pair! :)

Be sure to check out all the details for the challenge and I hope to see YOU play along!

All I want is...

EWE!

Back again with another Valentine card this week! Was catching up on my blog reading and video/periscope watching that made me feel a bit inspired and crafty!

I knew I wanted to join in on the newest Lawnscaping Challenge- WATERCOLOR!

I had an idea of what I wanted to do, but it was a matter of digging through my Lawn Fawn stash to figure out what to use. Since my holiday craft time was a limited (sick hubs & kiddies...boo!), I had to come up with a way to use the Baaah Humbug set other than for Christmas... I just love these little sheep!

All I want is EWE

I kept my card simple and used a few Distress Ink colors for my background (Spun Sugar, Abandoned Coral, Picked Raspberry) as well as the lil sheep too! (Pumice Stone, Tattered Rose) I masked off and stamped the sentiments from the set to make my own cute cheeky one- they were, "all I want for" and "Christmas is ewe."  Finally I added a few Pretty Pink Posh clear sequins, used a few layers of foam tape to add some dimension and mounted it all on the embossed card base.

I'm also entering this in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge: Create with Critters!

Thanks for stopping by,,, I hope ewe all have a fabulous Friday and weekend! (& hoping those on the East coast stay warm and safe!

XOXO...

Hugs & Kisses...Finally jumping into making the Valentine's Day cards...

I picked up these ADORABLE Valentine's digis from Elena recently and have been dying to color them! (You can check out her Etsy shop here!)

I combined two of the digis, Boy holding flower & Bee mine honeybee girl. I thought they were a pretty spot on combination of my son & daughter (even if my daughter is still a baby ;)).. and perfect for a Valentine's Day card for their Dada! ♥

XOXO
(& didn't notice until after I was adding my watermark that this card's layout has a striking resemblance to my previous card....oops!)

XOXO Totes Anya

That's Amor... Anya!

I couldn't wait to get my copics on this new sweet Amor Anya just released from The Greeting Farm! And just in time to play along with the newest TGF challenge too, "Love is in the Air"

I knew she'd be just perfect for Valentines for 2 of my nieces (cards for the older 2 coming soon...)

First, for the one who loves orange, but I couldn't resist throwing in a little pink in there it *is* Valentine's Day ;)

Amor Anya

and for her older sister, I used the same elements on this card but changed things up a bit so they weren't *exactly* the same!

Amor Anya

Thanks for stopping by! Until next time...

and remember you just have to use at least one of those to join in! You can find the details HERE!
Hedgiehugs

Using Quinn's abcs I stamped out the letters to alternate and spell 'kiss' and 'love!' I also used my still favorite tag die from Pretty Pink Posh, stamped & colored those adorable hedgies, and of course added some sparkly sequins & washi tape to finish off my card!

Heartfelt Wishes

Happy Friday!!!

Even though it is gloomy and gray out today.. my card is quite the opposite!

I couldn't wait to color more of the new releases from Tiddly Inks this week, especially with Valentine's Day just around the corner! But instead of coloring Wryn- Have a Heart in all red and pink, I added a little more color...

Heartfelt Wishes

& here's a closer pic of just Sweet Wryn ;)

Wryn- Have a Heart

I didn't think about adding the 'I Love You' in her hearts til after I colored- so they're a bit hard to see.

Are you getting crafty this weekend- there's been a bit of noise about some "big game" happening Sunday- are you a fan? LOL!

Happy Weekend!

Critter Crazy!

Doing a bit of Chi Chi Memories catch up since somehow my card last week didn't post!

Hopefully you all remembered that there was a freebie!

Squirelly

If not- you can still grab this sweet squirrel here!

& for this week I decided to give Little Fox a little foxy friend for a cute Valentine card!

Foxy pair

With a bit of editing, I duplicated and flipped the fox to give him a cute mate ;)

Thanks for stopping by!

Love You Tons!

Happy Monday!

Had some time to play just for fun this weekend and this idea popped into my head after seeing the newest Lawnscaping Challenge...

And since Valentine's day is right around the corner I thought this would be a sweet card!

Love U Tons

I created the my background using the X & O from quinn's ABC's, and of course those elephants are from Love You Tons! I'm lovin' the look of the red on kraft, but then again what doesn't look good with kraft? With a few strips of washi and some sequins and I called my card done!

Thanks for visiting!
