Pillow FIGHT!!

Hehe.. that caught your attention didn't it?

Today was my turn and my last post for Club Anya & Friends *sniff* for Wild Card Wednesday.

I decided to do an inspiration challenge with a photo of this pillow I found at Crate & Barrel (I really want it for myself too!) I just love all the rich bold colors and the pattern is so FUN!


I used the color pallette as my inspiration for my card using the so-adorable Wild Sprout Megan!

Yay!  It's Saturday- another BEAUTIFUL day here in AZ!

I used the oh so sweet tomboy Audrey that was a freebie from Marie a few weeks ago.. I couldn't wait to get her colored... those sweet eyes staring at me from my desk- who could resist?!?
I kept my card pretty simple without any frilly ribbons or lace- Audrey wouldn't have it any other way!! (but I couldn't go without adding buttons!)

It's Wild Card Wednesday on the Club Anya & Friend blog hosted by my sweet friend Kelly!!

Her challenge this week is to use some text or newsprint patterned paper on your project.  Now it took me awhile to figure out what to do here- even with my mounds of paper that I have- I had to search thru it all to find this itty bitty portion of paper that had some text on it! 




(Now I gotta go find more of this stuff!)  It's called Vintage Moon by Pink Paislee.  I also punched some circles out of another sheet of the same collection & stuck them behind some clear buttons!

Wild Card Wednesday PREVIEW!!

Hi again! 

It's the end of the month & you know what that means on Club Anya & Friends- it's PREVIEW time!!  And guess who's being released this time in some fresh RUBBAH...


It's Camille!!  You may remember that she was previously available as a digi- but on 3.1.10 she will be available in rubber form!

Since it's also Wild Card Wednesday on CAF hosted by the fab Jess- I made my card for her challenge too!  The WCW theme of this week is EMBOSSING- of any kind- wet/dry, whatever floats your boat!  I decided to put my Cuttlebug to good use and used the textile texture embossing folder on the pink matted cardstock, the patterned paper, and the cardstock I used to make my paper flower!

Hello Spring Anya

Hello Happy Hump Day!!  This week is just flying by!

The FABULOUS Pam is hosting Wild Card Wednesday today over on the Club Anya & Friends blog.. her challenge for you today is to use the paper piecing technique.  I don't do this very often since I  LOVE to color so much, but thought it it would be fun to play along! I paper pieced Anya's dress and basket.

I used Easter Anya on my card without her bunny ears, and swapped out the eggs for some paper punched flowers...
