Birthday Blackboard

2nd post today... (although technically my first one was just really late last night!)

I am totally falling for the blackboard/chalkboard trend that is going around right now.. and couldn't wait to get my hands on this Birthday Blackboard stamp from Hero Arts! & I finally got the chance to play with it today... (never mind that "big" game that's today-- what's it called the Super Bowl or something? LOL )

Excited to play along with the birthday challenge over at Hero Arts too!  This is for the "Anything Goes" category.

Birthday Blackboard

I do believe this is a first card in a long time that contains NO coloring, I gave my copics the day off :) I also remembered that I had a jar of embossing paste laying around and had just picked up this chevron stencil and wanted to give it a try!

Enjoy the rest of your weekends! Until next time... Happy Stamping :)

  2. Hi Joan! I stamped the blackboard stamp in Memento Tuxedo black ink (not caring too much about even coverage) on Neenah solar white 80lb cardstock.

  3. I love it! The pop of green with the black and white looks fantastic. I'm loving the chevron peeking out from behind the stamped image too :)

    Best crafty wishes!
