2nd post today... (although technically my first one was just really late last night!)
I am totally falling for the blackboard/chalkboard trend that is going around right now.. and couldn't wait to get my hands on this Birthday Blackboard stamp from Hero Arts! & I finally got the chance to play with it today... (never mind that "big" game that's today-- what's it called the Super Bowl or something? LOL )
Excited to play along with the birthday challenge over at Hero Arts too! This is for the "Anything Goes" category.
I do believe this is a first card in a long time that contains NO coloring, I gave my copics the day off :) I also remembered that I had a jar of embossing paste laying around and had just picked up this chevron stencil and wanted to give it a try!
Enjoy the rest of your weekends! Until next time... Happy Stamping :)
Love your card. Great colors.
ReplyDeletelove this card. what paper and ink did you use with stamp?
ReplyDeleteHi Joan! I stamped the blackboard stamp in Memento Tuxedo black ink (not caring too much about even coverage) on Neenah solar white 80lb cardstock.
ReplyDeleteI love it! The pop of green with the black and white looks fantastic. I'm loving the chevron peeking out from behind the stamped image too :)
ReplyDeleteBest crafty wishes!
