So excited to find out about this new challenge blog, The Cutting Edge Challenge, this weekend!
Their first challenge has a guest designer spot opportunity- how could I *not* give it a shot? I've been loving my die-cuts more and more, and why else do I need an excuse to play with them?! LOL
We were to choose one of the design team members to be inspired by and of course use die cutting. I was inspired by the fabulous Amy Kolling and her amazing card on the bottom left
Using some washi tape, MFT Plentiful Petals diecuts, and Simon Says Stamp Happy diecut I came up with this...
I cut the flowers using watercolor paper and smeared them in distress inks and sprinkled water drops. I also layered the happy die a couple of times to give it some more dimension.
I had a ton of funny with this challenge and can't wait to play along in future challenges too!
Thanks for stopping by! Happy Monday!!
