So I've had an unusual amount of crafty time lately, something that doesn't happen often with a 4 and 1 year old running around!
But that's good, right? It keeps me (somewhat) sane... LOL
Anyway, I'm here again with another card for a MFT challenge, this time it's for the newest Color Challenge #46! And also another card for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday- Anything Goes challenge!
While I don't have the exact MFT colors, I matched what I had as close as possible! My first thought when I saw this combinations was Unicorns... Yes, I know rainbows usually make me think of unicorns, but I *just* got the Magical Unicorns set and couldn't WAIT to use it!
I thought it would be sweet to make a cute little unicorn-couple! I colored them as close as I could get to the peach/pink/blue color, found matching patterned papers from a 6x6 stack in my stash by Pebbles (Cottage Living), layered it all on a kraft doily and cardstock base.
Have a MAGICAL weekend, and for those in the US, have a wonderful holiday weekend!

Stuck With Me!
Back again!
I was catching up on my blog reading yesterday, I came across the newest My Favorite Things sketch challenge...#282! and the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday-Anything Goes Challenge!
I immediately knew which stamps I wanted to use when I saw this sketch!
I've totally gotten bitten by the succulent bug trend, (just another thing I need to get addicted to right?) My husband and I enjoy gardening together, so in reality it's just another extension of it- well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! LOL! In fact, I think this card might just be perfect for him since he thinks I have "enough." (Ha! Yeah right...)
I white heat embossed the Woodgrain Background, and layered a few of the paired a few of the pots and succulents from the Sweet Succulents set. Added the sentiment and strip gold striped washi to finish off my card!
Happy Wednesday... Thanks for stopping by!

Forget Me Not Birthday
It's time for a new challenge at Tiddly Inks!
and it's an EASY one this week- Happy Birthday... You can ALWAYS use more birthday cards right?
I pulled out one of the newer Wryn images, Forget Me Not Wryn and put it together with some bright patterned paper, along with finally tapping into my washi tape in my stash *ahem* collection.
Hope to see you join in the challenge- enter for a chance to win some of your own Tiddly Inks digis!

Just *Swimming* Hello!
Hello there..Happy Sunday!!
Slowly getting back into the crafting groove- I managed to clean off my craft desk this weekend (larger than a 6" square of space!) and squeezed in some time to do some coloring and actually make some cards!
The first one for Lawnscaping Challenge's newest challenge...
SPARKLE IT UP!
Who doesn't love a little sparkle on their cards? I decided to use some under the sea themed stamps for my card (I *need* to get my hands on that new Mermaid for You set!) I put together the happy clam from Year Six, with the jelly an starfish from So Jelly to create this little scene...
I originally had done the whole scene on one layer, but it was too long for me to fit it onto a card layout that I liked, so I carefully trimmed the sandy portion with the clam & starfish to shorten it and popped it up with some foam tape for more dimension.
I colored it all with my trusty copics and THEN covered the entire thing with sparkle using a Spectrum Noir sparkle pen in clear- It was hard to capture the sparkle in my 'usual' spot, so I took my card outside to let the sparkle shine!
I made up my own sentiment by stamping the word 'swimming' using Claire's ABCs and added the 'just' & 'hello' from Everyday Sayings by Hero Arts- does it even make sense? It did in my head while I was making it- but now that I think about it... hmm

The Fox Says...
Whew! It's been a wild and crazy few weeks- who knew planning (& throwing) 2 birthday parties back to back would take so much out of me! My daughter's 1st and my son's 4th birthdays are about 3 weeks apart!
I posted the card I made for my daughter here and today I'm sharing the card I made for my son, and TODAY is his actual birthday!
Like I said he's 4- and he is all about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (that was the theme of his party!), space-the solar system & planets, learning the U.S. states and capitals (yes, it's true!), and all about being a BOY!
Just like my daughter's card, I used the sweet Better Together stamp set- these kids are just too cute! The little boy was just a perfect fit because one of my son's favorite songs right now is, "What Does the Fox Say?" He would listen to it all day if I'd let him!
I'm playing along with the Neat & Tangled Little Tangles challenge this week- Anything Goes!
This card was just what I needed to get my mojo going again- I've been dying to get back into my craft room!
Thanks for stopping by... off to celebrate my boy! ♥
