From when I saw Tami Hartley's card here and Jennifer McGuire's video I knew I wanted to give the technique a try! I couldn't get it to work right for me using Distress Inks- so I decided to try it with Copics!
It's a different look- but I still think it turned out pretty cool! I also don't have any of the silhouette stamps like the ones they use (I like to color too much :)) So I dug through my stash and found my Flower Wood stamp!
I'm also entering this in the Copic Creations feather blending challenge... I used the technique on the flowers. Here's what I came up with :D
Supplies:
- Flower Wood Background, Dots & Flowers (Hero Arts)
- Circle nestabitlities
- Lattice border punch (Martha Stewart)
- Patterned paper- Making Memories Noteworthy
- Ink: Making Memories Manila, Versamark Dazzle Champagne, white gel ink pen
- Copics: E21, E25, E27, E29, YG03, YG06, YR04, YR07, YR09
- Other: ribbon, string, buttons
