Glad you came back to check in with me! I wasn't how sure I was going to participate in the Hero Arts background stamping challenge this week. But once I got started earlier this week- I was on a roll and created these cards!
These first couple of cards turned out more masculine than I usually make, but I am happy with how they turned out! This first one is a 4.5" square
I used the DesignBlock Birthday card again, and cut it into thin strips of random sizes, adhered them with a bit of a gap in between, and finally added some 'faux' white stitching to make it look like that was what was holding it together! I didn't want to cover the effect too much another image- & just topped it off with some buttons.
Supplies: DesignBlock Birthday (Hero Arts), buttons, twine

I actually made this one a few weeks ago just for fun when I wanted to experiment to see how Copics looks colored directly on kraft cardstock! And it actually still turned out as vibrant as it does on regular white cardstock. I left it a single layer & just added some pearls!
and finally the last one I did using just the DesignBlock Outline Flowers and some added gems & pearls!
Supplies: DesignBlock Outline Flowers; Big All Time Greetings (both Hero Arts), pearls, gems, twine, Copic Markers
I guess I was on a kraft cardstock and white gel pen kick on these cards!
WOW is all I can say Lysa.. Your background cards are so awesome. Love all of them. You are so clever.
ReplyDeleteHi, Lysa! What a fabulous group of cards. I especially like the one you cut into random strips and then added faux stitching to it. I don't think I could have ever dreamed that up, but the results are fantastic! :-)
