Stenciled Easter Egg

So last night... late last night, I had an idea pop into my head and I just *had* to put it down on paper- literally!

I decided to make another Easter card using 2 stencils to create my giant egg- an oval nestie diecut to make the shape of my egg and this chevron patterned stencil (made by prima)!

Playing along with Virginia's View Challenge #2: Stencils! and the CAS-ual Fridays: Good Egg

Happy Easter
Made an ombre effect with picked raspberry and sugar spun distress inks and finished them off with one of my favorite new sets from Winnie & Walter (The Big, the Bold, and the Happy), & the Easter sentiment and the lil birdie are from Lawn Fawn!

Thanks for looking! :)

  1. Love the chevron pattern and the cute little chick! Hope all is well, Lysa!!

  2. Oh....I LOVE that chevron Easter egg!! I am glad that you took the idea and create, Lysa! The combo of Nesti and stencil is awesome! Each detail is lovely in this Easter card! So glad that you join the fun over Virginia's View Challenge!

  3. Great stenciling! Thank you for sharing with us at CAS-ual Fridays!
