Spring-y!

Back again! I managed to have some creative juices flowing to make some bright Spring-y cards to participate in this week's Hero Arts layers challenge. One thing you'll also find all these cards have in common are pearl gems- I am absolutely addicted to these little things right now :) - Love em!

I started to make another card using the sketch from my previous Mojo Monday card.. but things changed as they usually do when I try to copy (CASE) a card, I did stick to the idea of the Stickles on the Prima flowers- don't they look pretty? :)

Supplies: Tree, Bird & Messages; Long Branch; Thoughtful Messages (Hero Arts), Ticket Corner punch (Stampin' Up!), Prima flowers, Stickles, Glossy Accents (Inkssentials- Ranger)

It took me some time to get on the ball with the stamping last night with the previous card, but once it was done- I was one a roll!
I was inspired by these 'tent topper' cards here, and just had to give it a try- the actual card base is a 4.25" square, and the top layer with the stamped image is a 3" square adhered about an 1.25" higher to allow it to still fit in a regular (A2-I think it's called) envelope!

Supplies: Thoughtful Messages (Hero Arts), Scallop border punch (Stampin' Up!)

And my final card for today (still tinkering with the idea of making some more cards before the challenge deadline), I decided to also layer the stamped flower for some added dimension. I stamped and colored the flower 4 times, added a pop dot in between each layer, and more pearls of course. I made a small resolution with my crafting that I would actually use the supplies I had instead of just keeping them pretty in jars :) so I also added some felt pieces I had laying around.

Supplies: Thoughtful Messages (Hero Arts), Bird & Swirls embossing folder (Cuttlebug-Provocraft), Felted shapes (La*di*dah)

Thanks for stopping by- hope you have a fabulous weekend!
