Lawnscaping + Caffeine = Happiness!

OK, on to my card...

Love you a Latte!

I decided to have some fun with some Distress inks. It's hard to see but I randomly stamped the three coffee cups along with some coffee beans on the kraft background using Antique Linen ink, it dried lighter than I had anticipated- oops! I die cut a tag (this one from Pretty Pink Posh) from watercolor paper, flicked some brown Distress inks to look like coffee stains & added a few coffee beans in there too, I water-colored the three coffee cups from the Love you a Latte, added a few pieces of coordinating patterned papers & twine and called my card complete!

    Really cute card! I never think to use tags on my cards, so I definitely need to do more of that. Yours looks GREAT!

    I was able to make out the coffee mugs on the background, but I think your card is perfect without them showing up! I've noticed a lot of tags showing up as a focal point on cards and you've really done a marvelous job with this card.

    Love your watercolored coffee cups! They are so bright and go perfectly with the patterned papers you've chosen. The coffee stains and the beans look nice as well - give you an idea as if some clumsy person who spills everything around is an actual owner of this card:)

    I really love the ink splattered "coffee stains"! They add a nice, playful and realistic feel to your card's design! I also love he colors you used, the entire card speaks "happy"!

    WOW! Your card has the WOW factor and then some! I love the little splatter and sequins placed through out, and of course, the sentiment just melts my heart :) I love the kraft colored background which lends such more of a focal point to the beautiful design and colors in the middle - wonderful!     I really like this layout. I should do more tags as focal points -- would make things much easier than trying to do an entire card front. Great job!

    Lysa, I love the card. You cant's see the cups and beans on the kraft paper very well but I love the tag with the cups and coffee stains. Love it. Thanks for sharing.
