It's time for another Tiddly Inks Challenge!
I can't believe that April is nearly over and Mother's Day is just around the corner! The Tiddly Inkers thought it was only fitting that we made this week's challenge Mom's day related :)
I used this SUPER adorable Whatcha Doing? girl for my card- I just had to have her when I saw her in the Tiddly Inks store!!
My mom's favorite color is red/maroon- and I'm still working on finding the right combo for reds with Copics (anyone have suggestions?)
Supplies:
- Whatcha Doin'? (Tiddly Inks); Simple & Basic Alphabet, You're the Best (Hero Arts)
- Rectangle Nestabilities
- Ink: Printer, Versafine Onyx Black, white gel pen
- Copics: C3, E000, E00, E21, R01, R46, R89, 100, multiliner
- Other: ribbon, buttons, string, gems
Be sure to check out the Tiddly Inks challenge blog for more inspiration from my fellow team members and for all the juicy details on how to enter to win a $10 voucher to the Tiddly Inks store!!
OMG, this is super cute!! I love it! I like Copic's Cardinal R59. It's a deep red/maroon/burgundy hmm, maybe more burgundy than maroon? LOL! Anyhow, thats the color I'd like to use when I wanna go deep. HTH!
ReplyDeleteAloha!
Great card Lysa.... love it.
ReplyDeleteOMG...this is just too cute for words!! I love that precious image!! My favorite red combo is R32, 35, 37 and 39. If I need a really light highlight I use the R30. It's a very rich color of red.
ReplyDeletevery sweet card, Lysa!
ReplyDeleteYour coloring is amazing!! what a fabulous card!
ReplyDeleteThis is the cutest thing ever....:)
ReplyDeleteI added her to shop's gallery of examples...is that okay? She is just perfect all the way around. I would love a tutorial on how you colored the hair one of these days if you are into it. Black hair is so hard to do. :)
Lysa this is the CUTEST card, I LOVE it!!!
ReplyDeleteCuteness! I love the red + kraft! And I love how you stamped her sign and her awesome shiny hair!

Lysa, your coloring is absolutely amazing. The hair is unbelieveable with the shine it seems to have and as for the reds, they look fantastic to me. I also love the rounded corners on the bottom of the card with the sharp corners of the top. Wonderful card.
ReplyDeleteLysa, your card is absolutely adorable! I think your red combination is good... For real red, I go with R29,R24,& R22. I don't have too many Copics... yet... I just can't get over the hair and how shiny it looks! Great job... I think I might have to case your card, but with a brunette... ;)
ReplyDeleteWOW Lisa! I love this card and your Mom is going to I am sure of it! The stamps is adorable and I am off to investigate...Great color combo. Love the red with the craft and white. Hope it's ok to use your idea...Love it! Hugs, Lisa G
