(Wow! This my 1000th post! I would have never thought I'd get this far when I first started blogging so many years ago!)
I finally got my hands on my FIRST Neat & Tangled stamp set, Better Together. This super cute set was designed by the fabulous Elena Roussakis, I love her sweet images! This set is *perfect* for a birthday card for my daughter... she's going to be ONE in a little over a week! I can't believe it!! There's actually stamp that fits my son too- but I still have a few weeks for that one! ;)
On to my card, I'm playing along with the Little Tangles challenge...OMBRE!
And the Anything Goes Challenge Wednesday Challenge at Simon Says Stamp!
I used the sweet little girl with the dog on her head- just because she's super cute and a little silly like my daughter! Also because her dress was open for me to add some design to...
I stamped the '1' from Lawn Fawn's Quinn's 123s, I just had to mask off the bottom to make it fit on her dress. I colored her dress in various shades of pinks and aquas to create an 'ombre' effect & added some sparkle (Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen). I used distress inks to create the ombre tag (Pretty Pink Posh), stamped the hello from the same set and added the 'birthday girl' (Hero Arts). Finished it off with some fun patterned papers scraps from a card I had done a few days ago!
Off to do some more party prepping! Thanks for stopping by!

Hey There FOXY!
If you haven't learned yet from visiting my blog and seeing a few of my previous cards, you'll discover that I LOVE FOXES!
Maybe it was just because the started popping up everywhere in the stamping/crafting world but I love 'em! So when this Cuddly Thanks set came out from The Greeting Farm I just knew I had to have it!
I finally had a chance to ink him up & just in time to play along with the March Farm Fresh Challenge- Animals Rule!
I just LOVE how cuddly & comfy he looks curled up on top of the tree stump! ♥ I colored the fox, stump, grass (rocks) with copics and added the sky and rest of the grass using distress inks & an ink blending tool. The 'Hey There Foxy' sentiment is from another TGF stamp set, Wild Child. The woodgrain embossing folder is from Taylored Expressions.
Happy Wednesday... thanks for stopping by!

Have a Magical Day!
It's Tiddly Inks Tuesday! Which means it's time for a *NEW* challenge!
This week, we have a color inspiration photo...
I love the soft blush tones...'Gentle Spring Colors' is what we're calling it!
I decided to use Wryn- Fairy Friends for my card. I've been slightly obsessed with garden fairies and gnomes lately and this image just totally popped out at me!
I just love my kraft doilies and thought this was the perfect touch! I also got my hands on the new Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen- and man does that thing SPARKLE! I covered Wryn's wings and the bottom layer of her dress in it. The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn's Fairy Friends.
Here's a closer photo to show the sparkle- and just to note, I also used a Wink ofStella glitter on the flowers in her headband, but I have a harder time photographing it...
Hope to see you play along- check out all the details here!

I paired it with a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp, Abby's Spring Showers set,and some fun Spring-y patterned papers from my stash! :)

Just One Sip...
FINALLY... found some time to create a card for the Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!
Using the sketch over at Retro Sketches (#207), I thought it would be a perfect fit for my new Cool Cup dies & Stay Cool stamp set from My Favorite Things!
AND I used the combinations from the MFT Color Challenge #41
Since I don't have these exact card stock colors, I used the best matches I could find in my stash to put together my card...
I colored the cup using a few shades of Distress Ink (Tea Dye, Antique Linen & Walnut Stain) to mimic a delicious mocha frapp! It's a little hard to see in the photo, but I die cut the 'whipped cream' from felt, and also added a clear dome lid! :)
Whew!... I think that may be a record for me on the number of challenges I've entered with one card!
Hope to find some more time (& inspiration) to create at least another card for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.. because in case you didn't know- I *love* my coffee! :)

Sweet (birthday) Succulents
Popping back in to share another card I managed to make over the weekend!
I treated myself to some new stamping goodies for my birthday that was earlier this month, and among those stamps was this Sweet Succulents stamp from My Favorite Things!
I'm squeezing in my card for the MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #272 *just* before the deadline...
Those succulents were PERFECT for the sketch!
I decided to make my planter pot be overfilling with all the different kinds of succulents like you see in stores, and kept the patterned papers and background pretty simple to draw the attention to the succulents! :)
I have totally joined in on the succulent trend- but I'd like to think that I was slightly ahead of the game as I already had a few of them in my garden *before* they started popping up everywhere- but I still can't get enough of them!
Thanks for stopping in... I'll be back to share another card tomorrow!

Color Layered Bird-day!
Happy Monday!
I decided to play with some new stamps from Hero Arts that are quickly becoming my favorites! I recently got my hands on the Color Layering Bird & Branch and couldn't wait to play! To be honest, I was trying very hard to avoid these color-layering stamps because I don't really have many inks other than Distress Inks, and don't really have the space to store more-but that might have to change very soon because I had SO much fun with this bird!
And just in time too! I'm joining the fun with Right at Home's National Craft Month celebration!
After playing with a couple of color combinations and figuring out the inks that I had that worked how I wanted it to look, and finally settled on this...
I stamped the bird base layer in (Hero Arts) white ink, and used a fantastix to dab on Memento Luxe pinks and a bit of red for the belly and heat set it since they were pigment inks. I then used Hero Arts Soft Pool and Tide Pool to Navy Ombre ink pad for the remaining layers. Finally, the leaves were stamped using the Lime to Forever Green ombre ink pad. (Now I definitely *need* more inks!) I added the Chinese character for happiness to give a bit of an 'Asian' touch since this birthday card was for my dad. :) Birthday sentiment is from Mama Elephant's Lunar Extras.
Be back soon with a few more cards I was able to make this weekend...

He Loves his Little Sister ♥
Hello! Happy Tuesday friends!!
Tuesday means it's time for a new Tiddly Inks Challenge! This week we're challenging you to Scrap It! It's just the motivation I need to get cracking on my daughter's scrapbook... she's closing in on the 1 year mark and I haven't done a single page yet- well until now!
I used the Baby Girl digital image from Tiddly Inks for this sweet layout of my son & his baby sister when she was about a month old! So very blessed with these two littles in my life and love to see how much he loves his lil sis! ♥
Now to get going on some more layouts...
Hope to see you play along- check out all the details on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog!

Hello...
Friday! Woot Woot... the weekend is *finally* here!
I actually made this card a few weeks ago, but forgot to post it when Tiddly Inks had released the image! (oops) So quick post today to share with the semi-new Wryn Happy Thought
I kept my card super simple to let Wryn shine all on her own!
Have a FABULOUS weekend! Thanks for stopping by!

My Lucky Charm
Happy Wednesday!
I thought before I started getting into Easter cards, I should make at *least* one St. Patty's Day card, right?
Just in time too- I'm playing along with 2 challenges today- Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge- Bit O' Green and Lawnscaping Challenges- Color Splash!
I used the My Lucky Charm set from Lawn Fawn for this cute & fun St. Patty's Day-ish card!
I stamped, white heat embossed, and copic colored the 4 leaf clover randomly for the background piece. I stamped another clover and colored it in slightly darker shades of greens and COVERED it in Wink of Stella sparkle! I finished it off by mounting it to the embossed background (my favorite polka dot embossing folder right now- can you tell?) and added the sentiment.
That's it for me today... thanks for stopping by!

Sending {bunny} Hugs!
Hi... I'm still here! (Finally seeing the light -sort of- at the end of this sickness tunnel!)
I decided to dig into the pile of colored goodies in my stash from the latest 30 Day Coloring Challenge! (hosted by the FAB Kathy Racoosin) for days 29/30 I did some rainbow coloring of some die cut words with my trusty copics. Which happen to be perfect for March Challenge at A Blog Named Hero- Rainbow!
I colored up this sweet rabbit from Hero Arts Baby Animals set to pair with the hugs die cut from Winnie & Walter for a sweet CAS card...
I wish there was an easy way to photograph shimmer- because that 'hugs' is COVERED in sparkly wink of stella!
Thanks for stopping by, off to enjoy some weekend family time!
