Happy Easter

I couldn't wait to get the new Chi Chi Memories April digis colored when I first saw them.. SO stinkin' cute!

This week I'm sharing one with you just in time for the upcoming Easter holiday- she would just be perfect for Easter cards, or even on some Easter basket gift wrap! She's a super cute Bunny Girl...



Using my circle punch I punched out some teeny lil 'Easter eggs' from some washi tape- what's an Easter card with some eggs?

April Showers bring...

Water puddles??  LOL I thought that might be a fitting title for this fun & quick card I put together for the Some Odd Girls FB Challenge- "April Showers"

I got this Stompin' Tobie image specifically for my son because boy does he love water- puddles, playing with the garden hose, bath time.. you name it anything that includes water and he's there! He received a pair of rain boots for Christmas I can't for it to actually rain so he can give them a try! :)



I kept it pretty clean and simple, & I knew I had some scraps of this holographic wave paper that would make a perfect puddle!

It's not very often that I post more than once a day (so please see my 1st post of the day here)

But I couldn't help it when I was doing my usual blog reading catch up and I found this new-to-me company, Newton's Nook Designs! There's a sketch challenge going on (& you know how much I ♥ a sketch!) and they even have a couple of freebie digis up for grabs- so I just HAD to play along! :)

I'm trying really hard to put a dent in my scrap paper pile and thought this lil birdie would look super sweet paper pieced! Added a bit of twine and I called it done! :)

Paper Nest Dolls Guest DT!

I was so sweetly asked by Christine @The Paper Nest Dolls to guest design and just had to say YES! These digi images are just TOO SWEET!

I've definitely been testing myself recently using all these bright & bold colors! But they are so fun.. especially for the Spring and the warm weather we've been having! And I of course loved coloring every bit of that fabulous hair!
