BIG News!!!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas holiday & are enjoying some special time with family and friends!

I am SUPER excited to announce that I am one of 5 fabulous ladies that make up the "Farmers" at The Greeting Farm for 2014!!!  I am *beyond* excited to be apart of The Greeting Farm again, and can't wait to show you what is coming to the Farm!

I just about fell out of my chair when I saw the cuteness for the new releases coming January 1st! Today I'm sharing with you "Miss Anya Night Out."

Since one of my nieces (who absolutely loves the color purple!) has her birthday right after the new year and I knew Miss Anya would be just perfect! So enough chit chat here is my card...

Hi all!

Are you ready for Christmas?!?! I can't believe it's only 4 days away!

Just popping in with a quick post to share my latest PeeWee Designs card with you!  She's one of the newest additions to the PeeWee family for December!  Beary warm wishes... a sweet girl who's got a little spunk :) she's got her warm winter hat and has her hands pulled into her sweater! Keep your eye out for PeeWee Designs in 2014.. a little bird told me some fun stuff is going on! ;)



Totally made me think of one of my nieces.. for her birthday she really wanted a Flippeez hat, and not just any one she wanted the one that was a green monster! LOL (have you seen them? They're super cute hats that have a little pump in the tassel that make the ears flap. So cute that I had to get one for my son too- he LOVES it!  I colored the bear to match her hat... just might have to tuck this one into her Christmas gift! :)

I was super crafty {late} last night... 2nd post today!

As I said before, once I found these wood veneer pieces I can't stop collecting them!

Once I saw the mini Christmas trees this idea totally popped in my head & paired with the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch #56 it was perfect! :) AND it fits with the CAS-usal Fridays 122 - Out on a Limb Challenge too!

My oldest niece turned FIFTEEN Friday.. I still can't believe it!

I took advantage of a sale over at The Greeting Farm last week and just *had* to pick up this adorable Anya image (and a few others!) This sweet image is just perfect for my niece!

I used Deconstructed Sketch #129 and came up with this...

And I'm finally getting around to using the wood veneer pieces I've been hoarding! (shh.. I just bought more today too!- I'm addicted!)

A little bit of news!

I discovered the CUTEST digital stamp company, Chi Chi Memories and now I'm on their design team! :)

This is the newest image set, Joyful Season for December- isn't it the cutest?

My first official card (more Chi Chi Memories cards here) this ADORABLE Snow Bear- doesn't he make you want to make a snow angel too? Can't wait to use him on some future scrapbook layouts too! :)

Today my nephew turns 10! Time is certainly flying by!

He LOVES football, (lives, breathes and plays football any chance he can get)- this The Greeting Farm image was just perfect and the number on his jersey is a #10- no altering there either! & of course using his favorite team colors from the Denver Broncos!

Monday was my niece's EIGHTH birthday! (& my sister's!) Happy Birthday!

I made her this card with this super adorable image from PeeWee Designs, "Jump for Joy" & played along with the CAS(E) this Sketch #55 (I turned the sketch on it's side...)



 isn't she just the sweetest?! I am just loving all these cute PeeWee Designs girlies! :)

Thankful for...

I have a lot to be thankful this year, a wonderful family, fabulous friends & all of YOU loyal readers & new comers too!  I started this blog a few years ago not knowing if I'd get many readers- but I totally get a kick out of seeing visitors from all over checking out my lil' piece of blogland!

This was another recent 'freebie' from Chi Chi Memories (find her here!) and with Thanksgiving coming up next week here in the U.S.  I thought it'd be just perfect to share this week :)

I cannot wait for all the yummy food to be consumed next week... my mom makes the BEST sticky rice w/Chinese sausage, BBQ pork, mushrooms & other delicious ingredients (it's not exactly a 'traditional' Thanksgiving food the pilgrims had, LOL!, but it is a tradition for our family!)  and it's always a big hit! YUM! :)

My sweet sweet niece turned FIVE on Thursday and we're celebrating today!!

I was so excited to be asked to showcase some SWEET digis from a newly launched PeeWee Designs digital shop! I just couldn't wait to get these colored up!

The first one I made I chose to use on the birthday card for my niece, Emi!


This cute girl is Smile! Love how excited she looks (& she reminds me a little of my goofy niece too) :)

I just recently discovered images by Chi Chi Memories and OMGoodness they are the cutest!

My 1st Lawn Fawn!

I received some Lawn Fawn stamps a little while ago as a RAK (Thanks Ivy!), and can't believe I'm only now just getting around to playing with them!

I love this little gnome guy! (wonder if a little gnome girl is in the works??) I created this quick and simple card to add to my stash...

First Year

I've realized that I haven't shared the scrapbook that I've been working on for my son.  A few sneak peeks here and there ... but there are SO many more pages- I just haven't photographed them all yet and still trying to get caught up!

I recently have been reviewing my pins on Pinterest (find me here!) to remind myself of projects and things I want to do- I 'repinned' them for a reason right? I rediscovered a couple of layouts by Susan Weinroth I had pinned... These layouts she had done for her son's first year specifically. Awesome right? Totally inspired me and I wanted pages like these in Cayden's book.. so these are my take on them! Hope she didn't mind me "CASE-ing" her layouts!

I did this one about a month ago, I had a hard time narrowing down all the pictures I wanted to use!



I also remembered having this stamp set that has the month stamps just perfect for each photo! :)

Ghostly Greetings!

I squeezed in a bit of crafting time during my lil' guy's nap time to play along with CAS-E this Sketch today!

I've been in a Halloween-y fall mood since we took a short road trip up north last weekend to a pumpkin patch! I paper pieced this ghostly owl (WHO says ghosts have to be white? LOL) this was probably the fastest card I've put together.. think it took me longer to take some pictures of it since the sun was setting on me!

I have the itch now.. a little late, but I think I see some more Halloween cards in the near future :)

Enter the Dragon!

By the time my son turned one in May, I  really wanted to have his scrapbook up to date. I whipped out 2-3 pages a day- I was DETERMINED I tell ya! There are still a few pages completed that aren't quite "done" they're still hanging out there for the perfect embellishment to finish them off...Enter the Dragon

When Cayden turned one month old (its a significant celebration in Chinese culture) we had a big dinner to celebrate. Even though he couldn't really enjoy any of the delicious food because he slept through the whole party I had to have a page in his scrapbook for it! :)  Since he was born in the Year of the Dragon, I've been holding out for a perfect little dragon image/embellishment and I finally found one!  The awesome Sister Stamps came out with a dragon stamp and I was lucky enough to win it in a giveaway! Woohoo! I couldn't wait to get it colored up and add it to this layout!

Baby boom!

So it seems like everyone around me is expecting a baby... (no no no, not me.)

Since I still had all my baby stuff out I thought I'd make another one "just in case!" & I'm joining in on the fun at Simon Says Stamp "Use a clear or rubber stamp" Challenge!

Lil Owlets!

A few months ago I posted this card I made for a friend when she announced she's expecting twins...well I attended her baby shower this past weekend and of course had to make a card for that too!

They found out they're having girls and had an owl themed baby shower- everything was so cute!  I just had to dig out this adorable Sweet Owl stamp set just for the occasion!

It's starting to look like Fall around here... at least at my house, we started to pull out some of our fall & Halloween decor!



I also finally got this Hey Mae image I colored a little while ago onto a card!

Oh Baby!

Seems like there's a lot of people I know having babies again... makes me miss the baby stages of my little guy- he's growing too fast.. 16 months already! (see updated pics on the left sidebar!)

I thought I'd give it another go and play along with the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge with a baby card! I flipped the sketch to make it work for this adorable Mommy Anya image.

This also fits in with the Garden Variety Tuesday "textures" Challenge at The Greeting Farm- gotta love some embossed dots and glitter! :) AND the Simon Says Stamps Wednesday "Emboss it" Challenge!

A Fairy Hello

Happy Hump-Day! :)

Have you all checked out Some Odd World yet? It's a wonderful site dedicated to those Some Odd Girl lovers (like myself) to chat, play along in weekly challenges & meet some fabulous crafters!

This week's challenge is  "Fairy Magic!" I had to get a little creative with this one since I don't have any SOG fairies....yet! I gave Happy Gwen some wings by trimming a doily and glittered her up!
