Happy Saturday Friends!
Popping in to share this fun card I made last night (who else spent their Friday nights getting crafty?)
I finally got my hands on these sweet Adorable Elephants from My Favorite Things recently and was going to hold off coloring for a few more days until Kathy Racoosin's next 30 Day Coloring Challenge that starts on Feb 1st! (Check out the deets here!) but I just COULDN'T wait!
I'm playing along with MFT's sketch challenge #265 and Simon Says Stamp's Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge...
and this is what I came up with!
I attempted some pseudo-no line coloring by stamping him in some Pumice Stone Distress Ink... but I'm thinking I need to try another gray family of copics next time! I also stamped the hills (from the Ewe are the Best set) and balloons in distress inks and think those turned out a bit better... time for more practice!!
I used the tiny stamps in the set to stamp my background in Versamark and mimicked that same pattern on the vellum overlay.
Off to enjoy the amazing weather today with my family...
Thanks for stopping by!

All I want is...
EWE!
Back again with another Valentine card this week! Was catching up on my blog reading and video/periscope watching that made me feel a bit inspired and crafty!
I knew I wanted to join in on the newest Lawnscaping Challenge- WATERCOLOR!
I had an idea of what I wanted to do, but it was a matter of digging through my Lawn Fawn stash to figure out what to use. Since my holiday craft time was a limited (sick hubs & kiddies...boo!), I had to come up with a way to use the Baaah Humbug set other than for Christmas... I just love these little sheep!
I kept my card simple and used a few Distress Ink colors for my background (Spun Sugar, Abandoned Coral, Picked Raspberry) as well as the lil sheep too! (Pumice Stone, Tattered Rose) I masked off and stamped the sentiments from the set to make my own cute cheeky one- they were, "all I want for" and "Christmas is ewe." Finally I added a few Pretty Pink Posh clear sequins, used a few layers of foam tape to add some dimension and mounted it all on the embossed card base.
I'm also entering this in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge: Create with Critters!
Thanks for stopping by,,, I hope ewe all have a fabulous Friday and weekend! (& hoping those on the East coast stay warm and safe!

XOXO...
Hugs & Kisses...Finally jumping into making the Valentine's Day cards...
I picked up these ADORABLE Valentine's digis from Elena recently and have been dying to color them! (You can check out her Etsy shop here!)
I combined two of the digis, Boy holding flower & Bee mine honeybee girl. I thought they were a pretty spot on combination of my son & daughter (even if my daughter is still a baby ;)).. and perfect for a Valentine's Day card for their Dada! ♥
(& didn't notice until after I was adding my watermark that this card's layout has a striking resemblance to my previous card....oops!)

Thank you BEARY much!
Time is flying...It's time for another Tiddly Inks Challenge!
This week's challenge comes just in time to catch up with Thank You cards from the holidays! You can never use enough Thank You cards right??
I used this adorable Beary Sweet Panda Wryn image...
I stamped the background and the sentiment using an older Hero Arts set- Thank You Sayings. I also stamped the "BEARY" using Lawn Fawn's Claire's ABC's.
Be sure to check out all the details on the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog!

Year of the Monkey!
Before I jump on the Valentine train... I had to make something for Chinese New Year first! This year it falls on Feb. 8, according to the lunar calendar- 2016 is the year of the Monkey!
I totally fell in LOVE with the Lunar Animals & Extra sets from Mama Elephant and *HAD TO HAVE THEM!* The past couple of years I've made my own lucky red envelopes to give my kids, nieces, and nephew- and these stamps are just perfect!
I created my scene using the plum branches and lanterns- and thought it was a perfect perch for the sweet little monkey! I also stamped and fussy cute another monkey for the back- I placed a small piece of foam tape on the the bottom half of his body, leaving part behind his head free to keep the envelope flap closed.
And since these are for Chinese *NEW* Year- I'm entering them in the Something New challenge over at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!
Thanks for stopping by... now to get started on those Valentines!
