Roaring Good Birthday!

I was on a coloring kick the other night, and inked up some 'new-to-me' critters from Lawn Fawn... they are just so cute! I sat down tonight and finally got the chance to put some on a card!

I'm also sneaking in just before the deadline for the Lawnscaping Challenge: Clean & Simple! I totally love the clean & simple look- it's a fun & quick way to stockpile your birthday cards stash! :)

Here's what I did using Lawn Fawn's Critters on the Savanna!

Roaring Birthday

Thanks for swinging by!

Strawberry Girl

There was lots of fun happening last week on the Some Odd Girl facebook group- it was the Spring social scavenger hunts & freebie digis were involved! :)

I managed to find them all! & started coloring them this weekend.. one of my favorites was this Strawberry Girl Gwen!

I'm in the middle of transforming what was our half-office-half-craft room into a full craft room. I'm so excited!! So all my supplies are somewhat stacked up everywhere (until I take a trip to IKEA for some shelves!) but I managed to find these papers to put together this card! :)

Strawberry Girl

She's just so sweet in her Strawberry dress & headband! :)

It was a bit of a challenge for me because I seem to collect more paper than I actually use! Please tell me I'm not the only one ;) I decided to use Up Up Bean- she's still out of stock but check back soon!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Just popping in quick before the day is over to say...

Happy St. Patrick's Day!! Hope you remembered to wear your green! :)

Lucky Stars
&

*edited* After looking at this a bit I decided it was missing something and added some GOLD sequins... what's a Leprechaun without some gold coins? & it's a bit hard to see in the pic but the gold accents on his hat, bow tie, socks, & buckles have a bit of shimmer to them too! I'm also playing along in the Pot o' Gold challenge @Some Odd Girl!

I thank my lucky stars for everyone of you blog readers!

You're SWEET!

It's FRIDAY and time for another Farm Fresh Friday Challenge at The Greeting Farm!!

This week's challenge them is to use ribbon or twine!

I immediately had the idea to use Lolli Anya on my card, & had to use some twine for her lollipop!
You're Sweet

Twine has definitely been one of my "go-to" embellishments lately- it just adds the right touch for both masculine and girly cards! & If you haven't noticed I've totally been on a purple and aqua color combo kick- I'm pretty sure I've used it on quite a few cards recently.

Thanks for stopping by & be sure to check out The Greeting Farm blog for the details and join in on the fun and enter for your chance to win some TGF goodies!

Birthday Greetings

Woohoo!  It's almost Friday!! Anything fun planned for the upcoming weekend??

After seeing so much more inspiration on watercoloring from the Virginia's View challenge taking off (WOW 200+ entries!) I decided to play along again!

I've been dying to use this new (to me) stamp with all these birthday greetings in different languages (stamp is from a*muse) along with some more distress inks: peacock feathers-my FAVE, broken china, tumbled glass, & peeled paint I came up with this...

Birthday Greetings

Added a few sequins for some extra sparkle, twine and this card is ready to go! :)

I'm also entering this over at Seize the Birthday: Stitches challenge!

Let's Be Friends {Boy}

Back again to share another March release from Chi Chi Memories!

This sweet "Let's Be Friends-boy" image is SO cute!

CCM Let's Be Friends

I am already thinking of what I could use him on next... I think a scrapbook layout is on the list now! :)

More SOG ♥

As promised, here are the other cards I managed to squeeze out this weekend for the Some Odd Girl Facebook challenges!

This first one I used Bicycle Kaylee in the mix & match challenge to use colors: turquoise, lime green, yellow & pink, I followed the Freshly Made Sketch too... but didn't get it blogged in time to enter! Oops! :(
Bicycle Kaylee

The last card I made was for the punch challenge. I used Garden Mae- I love her because she's so cute & since my husband and I have really gotten into gardening in our backyard growing veggies & flowers!

Thanks for stopping by! I'll be back tomorrow with another Chi Chi Memories March release! :)

SOG Fun- Wave Mae

So I was super inspired this weekend to play with a few new Some Odd Girl digi images!  I was also playing along with the challenges on their Facebook group page last week, out of the 5 days of challenges I got to 3!

I used the CAS(E) this Sketch! #67 to create this one using Wave Mae!
Wave Mae

I added my own little touch to the sketch by adding the buttons (& faux stitching of course!)

Be back in a few to share the other 2 cards I made! :)

Birthday Sushi!

Popping in quick to share this birthday card I made for a friend...

I really couldn't wait to ink up this set when it arrived in the mail this weekend! So it's a good thing she likes sushi!

Birthday Sushi
I added some glossy accents to the soy sauce bottle, and some sequins of course!

I'm linking up to Lawnscaping Challenge #77: BLING IT!

FFF- Birthday Bash!

Happy Friday!!!

It's a Farm Fresh Friday Challenge & I'm hosting this week at The Greeting Farm!

March is a busy birthday month for my family (including mine just on Monday!), so I decided to get the ball rolling this month and make the challenge easy with BIRTHDAY creations! :)

I just had to use another one of the new releases- this time Dollie w/Bow! (They flew off the shelves like hotcakes...but a little birdie said they'd be back as soon as possible!)

I'm still slightly in love with the yellow & gray color combo even though it was a big hit a few years ago... but I'm always a little late to the party ;)

Best Day Ever

Now go over to The Greeting Farm and check out all the details to enter the challenge.. I'd love to see what YOU create!

Runway Inspired!

I'm back again this time sharing a card I made when blog surfing- I discovered another new to me challenge blog... Runway Inspired!

I instantly got an idea when I saw the inspiration photo...

Stunning right? I just HAD to use Miss Anya Night Out image- she's strutting her stuff! :)
Stylish Anya

Thanks for stopping by- I'll be back again tomorrow with the next TGF Farm Fresh Friday Challenge!

Watercolored Birthday

So last night I got the itch to try something new (to me!) With the watercolor trend popping up I thought I'd give it a shot!

I used this pretty flower background stamp from Hero Arts, some distress inks and a waterbrush... I watercolored the whole thing stamp, but really only liked this part of the image!

Watercolor birthday

Linking this up to a couple of challenges:
- Hero Arts Birthday Challenge
- CAS(E) this Sketch #66
- & Virginia's View Challenge: Watercolor

Thanks for stopping by.. I'll be back tomorrow with another card to share! :)

Let's be Friends!

Happy Wednesday!

Hope your weeks are off to a good start... I started mine off by celebrating my birthday on Monday! March is the busy month for birthdays in my family (my dad, sister, sister-in-law, & nephew!)

Anyway, it's a new month and you know what that means... NEW DIGIS from Chi Chi Memories

Aren't they just so cute & sweet?!! You can find them in the Chi Chi Memories shop right now!

For today's card, I decided to start with Let's be Friends (Girl)- she is just so cute and reminds me so much of my niece right now.  She's 5 and totally going through a tomboy phase- she says she doesn't like pink, ruffles, puffy sleeves, and what makes this image even more perfect- this girl LOVES bugs! LOL

Let's be friends

I dusted off my grassy border punch to create a fun patch of grass for her to keep watch on her snail-y friend!

Don't forget to grab the Handsome Boy digi freebie for last month.. he'll only be free for a limited time!!

Thanks for stopping by!
