Fall is in the Air

Can you believe September is just around the corner?!  This summer has definitely flown by for me.. no complaints here have had a fabulous summer, but I am certainly looking forward to some cooler weather!

This week's Tiddly Ink's challenge is to say goodbye to summer and hello to fall!  I used some deep rich colors on this "Always a Flower Girl" image...

Bring on the cake!

Happy Weekend all!

We celebrated one of my co-worker's birthday this week... like many of us she's LOVES chocolate so I thought this new Lily Bean image from Tiddly Inks was a perfect fit!

I popped the frosting layers with dimensionals and added some brown liquid applique (but didn't heat emboss) for some extra shiny chocolate goodness :)

Country Anya

Happy Friday!!

I couldn't be happier that it's Friday and that the weekend is finally here!  No big plans really- just excited for a few days off work ;)

I had some me time to play along with some challenges just for fun last night.  This card is for 2 challenges- Color Me Copic's Grass challenge & Everything but the Kitchen Sink's sketch challenge!

CMC's Kim created this fabulous tutorial on how she colors/draws in grass that makes it look SO easy! And here is the sketch inspired by Kelly Marie's washing machine of all things!



I had this adorable Country Anya digi that had yet to see some color and thought she was just perfect to color a grassy field around!

I'm back!

Hi all!

I'm happy to be back to blogging again this week after a short break!  My sister & her kids were in town visiting.  Had tons of fun spending time with them (it's never enough time!) - always love having the entire clan here!

It's time for the next Tiddly Inks Challenge after our 2 week long Fit for a Princess challenge... this week's challenge is to create project that has WINDOWS!

I found this tutorial and thought it was perfect for the challenge.  Here is what I created with this Fabulous Fairy Fae image:

Exciting News!!

I am THRILLED to announce that I am the newest member of the PINK CAT STUDIO design team!!  I have always loved these images (& they are so fun to color with copics too!)

Well sort of.. My sister is visiting with my nieces & nephew so I haven't had much time to stamp- except that my nieces are coming over today to stamp & craft!
