I am writing this morning about and for Katie Renz you can meet her HERE on her Card blog and HERE on her Family Blog.

Many of you may know that she has awonderful husband, 3 beautiful little boys, that she is a super Mommyand way talented crafter...she also has Stage 4 Gastic Cancer.

Today, her husband wrote an update on her blog. I am continuing to pray for Katie's Miracle, I hope will join me!

LORi Boyd was asked to design a stamp for Katie, she did and received an email from Katie telling her how much sheloved it. Shesaid it really was her boys. She was so very very sweet and veryappreciative! Sooooo, we are doing a HUGE push of this image for herboys!! It just so happens that her 2 little guys have a birthday on the 19th of this month and her big boy has one on the 1stof December. We would LOVE to bless them with a wonderful birthday andChristmas, so that Kevin and Katie do not have to think of worry aboutthat!!

Hi Everyone! I am so excited for today's post... Pink Cat Studio is finally back after taking a summer break!

Melissa's been hard at work all summer creating this fabulous NEW Digital Stamp Designer! The Digi Stamp Designer allows you to create your very own digi stamps using Pink Cat Studio characters and accessories. I had SO much fun playing with this program!

I picked these adorable Puddle Jumpers from the By LORi Designs and made some fun fall & Halloween-y projects...

First up is this card I made with Wagon Tales Katie and made her into a little scarecrow! (well tried to anyway...)

The BLD team was challenged this week to create a Trick or Treat project- something other than a card... took me awhile to think of something before I found this tutorial to make this test-tube-treat holder

The summer hsd definitely flown by... if only this Arizona heat would fly away- we've had at least 10 days of extreme heat warnings and temperatures 110*F and above!

It's time for another challenge over at The Pink Elephant! This week we're challenging you to use FELT!

I had these felt border strips that I've been hoarding... waiting for the perfect project to put them on! (They are from Queen & Co. and they are always a vendor and the scrapbook conventions..and only $1!)

I followed this wonderful tutorial made by Amy to give Anya some blue highlights in her hair :)

I also made another one after remembering I had some scrap pieces of felt laying around.. and I LOVE that I can cut them with my nestabilities! & I'm entering this in the Anything Goes challenge on the ATS Wednesday challenge.

After making my cards I've decided that I *NEED* more felt in my stash!!

Summer Vacation 2011

My mom, 2 of my sisters (+families) , hubby & I all met up in California a few weeks ago to go to DISNEYLAND!

& to remember it all I created this scrapbook layout...

No need to count.. there are 36 photos spread out on these 2 pages- didn't think I could get them all to fit, but it is a great "overview" of our 2 days @Disneyland! More themed pages to come I'm sure :)

Happy Monday! Hope you all enjoyed your weekends! I spent most of mine indoors enjoying the cool air-conditioning... we're definitely in the summer heat here in AZ, it was 111+ degrees all weekend! {blech}

I used the sketch to make my MIL her birthday card!

I just picked up this Hero Arts tulip stamp from Michaels a few weeks ago and couldn't wait to color it! I went a little crazy with the white dots too {LOL}

Summer is definitely here where I live in Sunny AZ, we're hitting the 100*F mark and over everyday this week! Can't wait to be sitting on a beach somewhere soon! :)

First, when I saw this Flutterby image I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it :) My sister had taken my adorable nieces to a botanical gardens that has a butterfly garden. If you look closely you can see that one of the butterflies thought the flower on my niece's shirt was a REAL one!

and for my second project..after tinkering around in Photoshop some more I combined Bev and June together for this sweet friendship card...

I used this Sweet Owls set and altered a sentiment from the Happy Girls set with a 'w' to make it Whoo... :)

I dug out this butterfly cling stamp that had just been waiting to be inked..
