It's Friday and the last day of the previews for the new The Greeting Farm November release! AND time for a new Farm Fresh Friday challenge!

A little catching up...

Somehow my original post last week didn't get posted last week for Chi Chi Memories- so I'm doing a little catch up today!

It's time for a new Farm Fresh Friday Challenge @The Greeting Farm and I'm hosting this week!

For this week's challenge I decided to go with an "easy" one since I've become such a fan of this style... CLEAN & SIMPLE! I just love the simple look, and how quickly I can put together and bunch of cards for my stash!

I inked up one of my favorites- WS Wild Child for my card and paired it with a simple greeting using a diecut and some alpha stamps!

Hey there! Long time no blog... guess I needed a bit of recovery after last week's crazy blogging week!

I'm back today with the newest challenge over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps! This week's challenge is, "If You Go Down to the Woods" which means we want to see you use a Bear or Fairies image!

I decided to go with the bear route after seeing these cuties Spencer's Party & Kiki Bloom! Using photoshop I put the two together for this cute little birthday party scene!

Pretty in Purple!

HELLLOOO Friday! & WHEW what a week it has been!  Only post for me today... I think!

It's time for another Farm Fresh Friday Challenge over at The Greeting Farm! This week my teamie, Kristina is hosting and she chose to her favorite color as the theme... PURPLE!

I colored this sweet girl from the Winter Greetings set that I surprisingly hadn't colored yet since it released! I had to remedy that quick and those she would look SO cute in all purple! :)



I used various shades of the BV-copics to color her outfit and once again hit up my trusty-ole BOX of scraps to find some matching papers... oh an of course some washi tape- there's always room for some washi tape! :D

HBD Cheeky Monkey!

This time to share my latest project as a guest designer at Little Miss Muffet Stamps!

I just love these adorable images- I really want them ALL! Especially these sweet Swings n' Slides. My card today uses Swings n' Slides Cheeky Monkey! He's such a cutie, I might just have to save this one for my son's birthday next year!



I kept my card pretty simple, adding just some woodgrain washi tape and the birthday sentiment (Lawn Fawn Quinn's ABCs & Happy Everything)

Paper Sweeties Release Rewind!

Back again sharing one more project I made with this month's release from Paper Sweeties!

PSSST... all October release products are available in the shop NOW!!

I used the new Stand Add-On Scarecrow Sweet Cuts die paired with the coordinating stamp set. Bringing myself back into the Fall after all those fun Christmas cards I created for the release... because I have to admit I and *so* not ready for Christmas yet! LOL



I just love the look of copic on kraft! To create my pile of pumpkins, I stamped and masked to create the look that they were neatly stacked ;) added in the sweet scarecrow- I really think he's my favorite! & finished it off with more coordinating patterned papers from my scrap stash! (sentiment: Lawn Fawn)

Halloween Macarons!

(ok, this one is even a surprise for me- but there's so much fun stuff going on I can't keep up! THIRD post of the day! Please see my Paper Sweeties post here, and Chi Chi Memories post here!)

If you haven't noticed yet, I've been a little obsessed with tags lately... that's not a bad obsession right?

Especially since I got this one from Pretty Pink Posh! So when I saw that the challenge over on Avery Elle was to use tags- how could I not join in on the taggy fun??



Paired it up with the color coordinates from the Wednesday Challenge on Simon Says Stamp and I was set!


I colored the macarons in orange, purple & green and matched it with some cardstock scraps that I can never seem to find the end of! & added the sentiments from a Hero Arts Halloween greetings set.


Ok, that *SHOULD* be it for me today....

I kept this card sweet and simple, but fancied it up a bit by adding the die-cut words with the inlaid technique. Along with some shiny sequins & washi tape!

Paper Sweeties Release Day!!

The day is HERE.. all of the new October stamps sets and sweet cuts dies are available in the shop NOW!

My card today shows another of the Joy Sweet Cuts paired with the Trim the Tree stamp set (as well as the Sweet Cut die too!)



I thought the tree and sentiment would look elegant in some glitzy gold! The tree is stamped and gold embossed while I diecut Joy from some glitterly gold cardstock. (& yes on another tag...) I also got some good use from the patterned paper scraps in my stash- anyone else a scrap paper hoarder?

Paper Sweeties Release Day 2!

Back again as promised to share another card with the NEW October release stamps & sweet cut dies that will be available on THURSDAY 10/15!!

This time I used the Sweet Cut dies that are compatible with the stamp set Snow Friends... an adorable snowman complete with accesories! I also used the new Joy Sweet Cuts dies that match the Joy stamp set on the card I shared yesterday!



Still obsessed with tags at the moment!  But this sweet snowman fit so perfectly- think I'd definitely be using him on some gift tags this Christmas!

Paper Sweeties October Sneak Peeks!

It's time for the Paper Sweeties peeks of *NEW* October Release!

This is my first release as a DT with Paper Sweeties and I am so excited to share!  This month's new sets are just too fun!

My first card features Trim the Tree and Joy.



I used the Joy stamp set which includes 3 script words- "Believe," "Joy," and "Noel" I stamped them in versamark for my background. Using one of the trees from Trim the Tree set and made what (I think) looks like a snow-globe!

WCMD continued...

Happy Saturday!

I found some time to squeeze in one more card for the Winnie & Walter WCMD challenges! For this one I chose Vanessa's Pinspiration...



This is what I came up with!


After stamping the kraft cardbase with my favorite MFT woodgrain background, I cut some white cardstock into the triangular shapes and using Distress Inks (tattered rose, picked raspberry, wild honey, spun sugar) sponged on the corresponding colors, Then I spritzed some water on this background stamp and stamped it onto the triangles for some added texture.

Simon Says Succulents!

To  say that I was SO excited when I saw that Simon Says Stamp had come out with these succulent stamps is an understatement!  I just *HAD* to have them!!

and just in time too- I'm playing along with the Trendy Tag challenge on their flickr page! In addition to Virginia's View CAS Challenge!



The background was stamped with MFT's Woodgrain background, added a bit of washi and enamel dots. I colored my cute lil' succulent cup with copics directly on kraft cardstock, I love the softer look it gives.  Here's a close up...

Hello & Happy World Card Making Day!

I'm still in the middle of checking out what other fabulous events are going on out there for this fun-filled card making day!

But the first one to jump out at me was this color challenge hosted by Winnie & Walter!



I'm not one to usually use much gold (I tend to prefer silver) but I thought it was a perfect combo to use this Peace Poinsettias stamp from Hero Arts! The Christmas sentiment is from Lawn Fawn's Happy Everything & of course the 'happy' is from my favorite W&W The Big, the Bold & the Happy...



I'm also entering this in the Hero Arts Holiday Challenge under the "Mad about Metallics & White Out" categories! In addition to Virginia's View Challenge: CAS!

Farm Fresh Friday: BOO!

Happy 1st Friday of October! It's time for another Farm Fresh Friday Challenge!

To get in the spirit of the season, this week's challenge is... HALLOWEEN!

I surprising didn't have any TGF Halloween images in my stash! So what did I do??  I remembered that I *DID* have this WS Dahlia stamp and along with a witch hat embellishment thought with a little fun coloring she would make a perfect lil' witch!



What do you think?

I layered scrap pieces of patterned paper with washi tape, some spiderweb punched from vellum, and added a bit of sparkle with a glitter pen- it's a little hard to see in the photo.

Little Miss Muffett Stamps- GDT

I told you I had lots going on this month...

I was asked to guest design for Little Miss Muffet Stamps by my so very sweet blogging friend, Faye! These images (both stamp and rubber) are cute as can be- how could I say no?!!



Last week- my nephew went on a 5th grade science camp with his school. To keep them from getting too "homesick" (no parents were allowed- just teachers and camp advisors) they encouraged family to send them cards and letters. So on to my card...

I thought this cute Swings 'n Slides Spring Morning image would be just perfect for him!



Stamped the background with my favorite woodgrain stamp (MFT), colored this cutie with my copics, and finished it off with the sentiment from Winnie & Walter!
