FFF: Lovely Layers

I made another card to celebrate Chinese New Year! and the LOVELY LAYERS challenge over at The Greeting Farm! :)

I just had to ink up Miss Anya Night Out again.. and paired her in traditional reds and golds to celebrate the Year of the Horse!

I'm back again this time sharing some Chi Chi Memories cuteness :) I decided to use the super cute Little Hoodie freebie again this week- and colored her up in traditional red & gold colors for my card- just in time for Chinese New Year! :) Chinese New Year this year falls on January 31st- Friday! & It's the Year of the Horse... what's your sign?



It's a bit hard to see, but I stamped the background with a lantern border stamp in some Versamark ink for a subtle yet festive background, and embossed gold paper for some added texture! :)

So Stinkin' Cute!

Whaa?? Two posts in one day? I guess it does helps to have images colored in advance! LOL  When I colored the lil fox from my previous post  I also colored the chipmunk from the same Lawn Fawn set...except I added two little lines & made him into a cute lil skunk!



I added the sentiment from an old Hero Arts Elephants set, and this card was born!  I'm entering this card in the Simon Says Wednesday Let's Have a Laugh challenge.. just before the deadline!

Hello Fox-y!

Happy Tuesday Crafty peeps!

I finally got the chance to play with some of the stampy goodies I ordered for myself (uh.. I mean from the hubs) for Christmas! I may be late to join the fox-y bandwagon but I am totally ga-ga for them now, and just HAD to get the Into the Woods set from Lawn Fawn!

I also decided to play along with the challenge inspired by the craftiest Donna Mikasa who's featured over on CASE Study this month!



I also got this big MFT woodgrain background stamp and the die cut from Simon Says Stamp.. I need more of these words- I ♥ them!

I did another layout! I'm determined to catch up I tell ya!

I had done this page a few days ago of my son's first time in the pool last summer..but though that it was missing something... until I remembered this uber-cute swimming boy image from Tiddly Inks!



Think he was the perfect finishing touch this layout needed! :) & just in time for the Warm Up Challenge on the Tiddly Inks Facebook page!

FFF: Red, White and BLUE!!

Happy Friday Crafty Friends!

Today over at The Greeting Farm Kristina is hosting FFF and she chose a Red, White & Blue themed challenge! She lives "down under" and January 26th is Australia Day- and since the colors on Australian Flag are also Red, White & Blue she chose them to honor her nation!

I went for the Clean and Simple look again (though I should really get to using my papers and stop hoarding them! LOL) and used super cute Sitting Lovely for my card!



It might be a bit hard to see in the picture, but I embossed the a circle nestability die to get the embossed/debossed circle for Anya to sit in.. and of course what's one of my cards without some faux stitching?

Think this might be a card in the running for my nieces' Valentines this year! :)

Snowboarding Hello!

Hi again!

Popping in to share another card I made for Chi Chi Memories using the super sporty "Winter Sports" digi set!  This time I colored up the Snowboarding Boy to make this quick clean & simple card...

I offset my embossing folder on the bottom corner of my card to make it look like a snowy hill for this lil' snowboarder! Added some glossy accents to his goggles and a few drops of liquid enamel for some extra snowy texture too.

Little {BIG} Boy!

Just for fun I've been participating in one of the many photo-a-day challenges (#fmsphotoaday to be exact)  that are out there... yesterday's photo prompt was "To Do List." I've had an ongoing (& never-ending) list of scrapbook layouts that I've been wanting to get done- I'm so behind!  Anyway- this photo gave me just the push that I needed and I knocked out 3 pages last night!

To get my mojo started I checked out the latest challenge over at The Memory Nest and decided to play along with their Make It Monday #9 sketch challenge! I changed it slightly by using a 5x7 photo of my little guy that I had already printed out...



So that's one layout done and many more to go!

Sweet Beanie {Ian}

Popping in to share a card I made with the TGF exclusive Beanie Ian! I totally fell in love with him the instant I saw him! You can only find him at The Greeting Farm.. but he's available in BOTH stamp and digi form!

I kept my card pretty simple, no frills for those boy cards ;)


I got my color inspiration from my son's Flippeez hat! (have you seen these- they are the cutest thing ever... you squeeze the tassel, and the ears on the top flip & flop!) If you don't know my by now.. you'll notice that I love me some buttons!

& here's my crazy adorable boy in his hat!

I couldn't help but to use another image from the Miss Anya Night Out! This one is just too cute and she totally looks like she's showing off some bling on her finger :)



I used some fun bright colors to hopefully bring some warmth to those of you on the East coast! Hope you all are staying warm!

Hitting the Slopes!

I'm back again to share the newest release from Chi Chi Memories! Winter Sports is just the cutest ever... even more perfect with the Winter Olympics starting in a few weeks.

My sister took her kids up to try snowboarding (for the first time) over their Christmas break, she text me some photos of my nieces before they hit the slopes, and I just knew I had to scrapbook this photo for her!  & this snowboarding girl in the set couldn't have been more perfect!



and just another reason why I love digis so much, I was able to easily duplicate and flip another image of the girl to mimic my nieces in the photo!
