peek-a-BOO!!

I just recently discovered images by Chi Chi Memories and OMGoodness they are the cutest!

This was a recent freebie(*edited to add: you can now find him here!), (there's a freebie every month!) and I just couldn't wait to get it colored and on a card.. pretty sure he's going to go in my son's Halloween scrapbook page as well! I used Deconstructed Sketch #124 & joining the Anything Goes challenge at Simon Says Stamp too!

Happy Friday! I'm back again... seriously bitten by the card making bug this week! (& totally not complaining ;))

Officially made my first Christmas/holiday card of the year! I saw the sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch and absolutely had to play along!

I decided to play along with the current challenge-a SKETCH! & if you don't know me by now... I love me a good sketch! Quickest card I have ever made with *gasp* no coloring (shh... don't tell my copics!) I also pulled out some sequins that I've been waiting to use too!



Think I'll need to sneak this one somewhere for my hubby! ♥

My 1st Lawn Fawn!

I received some Lawn Fawn stamps a little while ago as a RAK (Thanks Ivy!), and can't believe I'm only now just getting around to playing with them!

I love this little gnome guy! (wonder if a little gnome girl is in the works??) I created this quick and simple card to add to my stash...



Today's my sis's birthday too..be back in a few to share the card I made her :)

First Year

I've realized that I haven't shared the scrapbook that I've been working on for my son.  A few sneak peeks here and there ... but there are SO many more pages- I just haven't photographed them all yet and still trying to get caught up!

I recently have been reviewing my pins on Pinterest (find me here!) to remind myself of projects and things I want to do- I 'repinned' them for a reason right? I rediscovered a couple of layouts by Susan Weinroth I had pinned... These layouts she had done for her son's first year specifically. Awesome right? Totally inspired me and I wanted pages like these in Cayden's book.. so these are my take on them! Hope she didn't mind me "CASE-ing" her layouts!

I did this one about a month ago, I had a hard time narrowing down all the pictures I wanted to use!



I also remembered having this stamp set that has the month stamps just perfect for each photo! :)

Ghostly Greetings!

I squeezed in a bit of crafting time during my lil' guy's nap time to play along with CAS-E this Sketch today!

I've been in a Halloween-y fall mood since we took a short road trip up north last weekend to a pumpkin patch! I paper pieced this ghostly owl (WHO says ghosts have to be white? LOL) this was probably the fastest card I've put together.. think it took me longer to take some pictures of it since the sun was setting on me!

I have the itch now.. a little late, but I think I see some more Halloween cards in the near future :)

Enter the Dragon!

By the time my son turned one in May, I  really wanted to have his scrapbook up to date. I whipped out 2-3 pages a day- I was DETERMINED I tell ya! There are still a few pages completed that aren't quite "done" they're still hanging out there for the perfect embellishment to finish them off...Enter the Dragon

When Cayden turned one month old (its a significant celebration in Chinese culture) we had a big dinner to celebrate. Even though he couldn't really enjoy any of the delicious food because he slept through the whole party I had to have a page in his scrapbook for it! :)  Since he was born in the Year of the Dragon, I've been holding out for a perfect little dragon image/embellishment and I finally found one!  The awesome Sister Stamps came out with a dragon stamp and I was lucky enough to win it in a giveaway! Woohoo! I couldn't wait to get it colored up and add it to this layout!

Baby boom!

So it seems like everyone around me is expecting a baby... (no no no, not me.)

Since I still had all my baby stuff out I thought I'd make another one "just in case!" & I'm joining in on the fun at Simon Says Stamp "Use a clear or rubber stamp" Challenge!

Lil Owlets!

A few months ago I posted this card I made for a friend when she announced she's expecting twins...well I attended her baby shower this past weekend and of course had to make a card for that too!

They found out they're having girls and had an owl themed baby shower- everything was so cute!  I just had to dig out this adorable Sweet Owl stamp set just for the occasion!

It's starting to look like Fall around here... at least at my house, we started to pull out some of our fall & Halloween decor!



I also finally got this Hey Mae image I colored a little while ago onto a card!
