Just Saying Hello

2 posts in one day... had a late night crafting yesterday :)

In search of some new challenges to enter I found CAS(E) this Sketch and has just finished coloring another "Hey Mae" (I'm still addicted to these SOG images I tell ya!) and came up with this! I'm also playing along with the Anything Goes challenge at Simon Says Stamp!

She's just so sweet.. I might just need to make another one of these and send it up to my nieces! :) She's the perfect image for tweens/teens! :) 

Coffee Anyone?

A good friend of mine celebrated her 30th birthday a few weeks ago...

& I'm only just getting around to making her card now since we haven't had the chance to meet up yet! Since she's a fellow coffee lover like me I thought this MFT stamp was just perfect :)  I'm playing along with the Deconstructed Sketch (#107) this week too!

Birthday Daisy

Quick post to share a card I made for my mother-in-law's birthday today...

Discovered this already colored daisy in my stash and joining in on the fun again at CAS-ual Fridays "Over the Edge" challenge! I trimmed the front side of the card (embossed & border punched) and adhered the block to sit over the edge but still within the size of the card to still inside an envelope!

SOG Addict!

Ok, I admit it I am officially addicted to these Some Odd Girl images!

I made this card for the challenge over at Some Odd World-Trashed Flowers (aka stop hoarding your stash and use them! LOL)

Somewhat inspired with the Fourth of July coming up I used a red, white & blue color combo and came up with this!

Birthday Bookworm

We went to a birthday party for a friend's six-year old daughter this weekend, so I needed a card for her gift...  She's a "new" reader so we thought a gift card to a bookstore would start her off right!

I have this super adorable image from Tiddly Inks that was just perfect and just right for the Deconstructed Sketch (#105) too! :)

All-Star Dad

My husband loves sports- especially football and we've also been getting back into watching baseball too! How about those Diamondbacks!? Woohoo :)

So for Father's Day I knew I a sports themed card would be perfect!  Once again, still playing with those Paper Smooches stamps! & what do y'know another CAS card too!

For this card I'm joining the fun at The Twinery- It's an Anything Goes challenge & Die-cut Divas Guys & Boys challenge too!

I can't stop playing with this super cute Paper Smooches "My Guy" stamp set!

I'm joining the fun at the Die-cut Divas "Guys & Boys" challenge in addition to playing along with the CAS-ual Fridays "mapquest" challenge... while I don't usually make CAS cards I thought it would be a fun change up :) AND it fits with the Simon Says "Transport" Challenge as well! :)

Kept it sweet and simple with just using an embossing folder and baker's twine!

I'm back again!! It feels great to be back to blogging and bein' crafty again! Thank goodness for naptimes!

I was thrilled a few weeks ago to win (my pick) of one of Some Odd Girl's new releases!  I chose Hey Mae and I LOVE her! She just arrived in the mail and I couldn't wait to get her colored!

and of course had to join in on the fun with SOG's June sketch challenge...


I'm also playing along with the Moxie Fab World's Mixy-Matchy Challenge!  I thought the different patterned papers and embossing were funky enough to go together well :) !

We are so thrilled!! Good friends of ours announced this week that they're expecting TWINS!!  Couldn't have happened to a more deserving & loving couple!

To celebrate how happy & excited we are for them I made a card- hehe!

Tomorrow my oldest niece is graduating from middle school/junior high.. she's going to be in high school! I can't believe it- I still remember when she was this teeny tiny baby and now she's as tall as me!

I wanted to send her a little card to let her know how proud we are of her and the beautiful, intelligent young lady she has become...
